ROYAL STAY VINTAGE

Not a good experience at all . The owner is presumably abroad and has no clue his staff is rude and unprofessional. Or he knows and does not care ! So many bad reviews and yet no change . We three ladies including an aged mother arrived at 3.40 am and the caretaker had to be woken up to open the gate , he did not oblige to carry our bags because he was sleepy . Brekafast offered , is actually from a crappy hotel close by, was horrible . Caretaker and manager complained about waking up early for us and other guests . We don’t recommend this place for anyone unless the owner get involved and sort his staff .

Poor service despite being the rooms being good. The lady working here is being rude and we have booked room for 24 hr checkout and the timing was from 11pm-11am. We went to meenakshiamman temple and came back the lady closed our rooms and refused to gave our keys. And then we argued she refused to give the key. Even we paid for two rooms she had given us one room only. Worst experience don't choose to stay here if you are planning to visit madurai for any trips.

We stayed for one night in Royal place. The place carries vintage South Indian ambiance. We recommend this budget stay for foreigners and north people. We enjoyed our stay . Thanks Royal place for hosting us. Staff members santha and Mohamed helped us a lot .

If you're a bachelor avoid maximum here! , too much school rules type vibes over here despite mature adults visiting. Apparently owner stays above and is very strict with protocols and they try to extract more from you to go easy on protocol which is funny. I also personally felt they were rushing on the payments part during check -in which screamed Red Flag to Us. The Vibes and Hospitality shown here felt nothing Royal about this place. We instantly cancelled booking and went elsewhere, really glad we did so!

We had a great stay. The hospitality was excellent, and the owner was very friendly and welcoming. The vintage look of the place created a warm and pleasant atmosphere. The room was clean and comfortable.
