Pros of staying here :- Friendly host River side view Bon fire Delicious food ( PS. Do try maggie at their sitting by the river ) Cons:- Kuch bhi nhi 😂

The Himalayan Tribe Riverside Camps in Chitkul is a hidden gem! The location is stunning, right by the river with beautiful mountain views. The tents are clean and cozy, and the staff is super friendly. Loved the peaceful vibe, tasty food, and relaxing campfire evenings. Perfect spot to unwind in nature – highly recomended

It is located along side the Baspa river, that is the only charm of the place if someone choose to stay near rhe river. However this is little away from the Chitkul village where you can find many homestays and small hotels. This is the last campsite at Chitkul along the Baspa riverside. The tents are not well maintained, possibly due to very less tourist footfall. It is well understood one should not expect luxury but the basic amenities need to be attended. I am not sure about the condition of the other campsites but I would strongly recommend not to stay at this place. Food was good and tasty and I would love to mention Mr. Jayprakashji's hospitality who tries to his level best within the limited resources he has.

I stayed here for 8 days , the landscape ,mountains ,River flow and skies with changing mountain colours ,snow and clouds all in one frame were never less exciting than the first day ,the staff here treated me like a brother with foods and understanding even when language was a barrier ,I will be visiting there again with my loved ones next time
