In the beginning, we were like how we'll manage, 2 nights in a tent in the temp. of 3°c..but, we did it. Although that place didn't come up with a lot of facilities still its simplicity is what blew our heart and minds. The homie feeling, warm nature of their people..it turned out like a routine..woke up, roam around, explore the city then back to the place sitting in front of the fire, singing songs, playing games and passing lame jokes at each other and then back to camp sleeping in one bed just to keep yourself warm. .every trip teaches you something and on this trip, I had learned so many things. People are kind, all you need to do is let yourself in front of them, express yourself, tell your stories, understand their experiences. Falling in love with completely strange people, played cards with them, sang our favorite songs, dhamsharaj, pakadam and what not..i feel like I'm back to those old school days. The owners are very caring especially Roni bhaiya he's like an elder brother, scolded us, cared for us, we miss you! we feel like home..singing on our all-time favorite old Bollywood songs is what our last night dedicated to. Once again I would strongly recommend you to visit this place if you really want to spend some quality time with a riverside view and the soothing sound of mother nature.

Place worth exploring. However, the kheerganga trek for beginners is bit difficult but worth it. The scenic beauty of kalga village is something for which you can risk your comfort. The peace we get at Manikaran completes the journey in its own way

Experience the soothing sound of river flowing by the camp 24x7. Good food and great hospitality. People were very friendly with us. Good place for newbie campers. Overall a great experience.

Good number of camps. Wifi is available.. every food available ay uplifted costs. No mobile network though

The camping was awesome, The funniest thing there was our guide told us that “ Jo yaha ki chadhai h woh starting mein steap h and uske baad seedhi seedhi h” and we never found that seedhi seedhi chadhai 😂😂 bt the trip was awesome, The place is awesome, Like all your hardwork will worth it once you will reach at Kheerganga.
