Hotel Sunrise Vista Inn

Absolute terrible experience. I booked with this hotel with booking.com and called them on the day to let them know what time I will be arriving and the hotel saying that my reservation was cancelled, despite booking.com suggesting the reservation was still confirmed. And to make matters worse the receptionist was very rude and whilst we were trying to sort the situation out he cut the call on me mid way through the call and ignored any other calls I made. I asked that as it shows as confirmed the money will be taken anyway and he said not my problem and hung up on me!!!! Please avoid this hotel as they seem to be very inconsistent. They said on call that this happened to 3 bookings via booking.com on the same day, so please be careful. I usually never leave reviews but this place caused so much trouble trying to find accommodation in Prayag at such a short notice at such a busy time, so wanted to warn people before booking

I stayed here for 2 nights. Horrible service. Rooms were not cleaned. Staff for highly under trained and very rude. Rooms were filled with mosquitoes. Food in the restaurant came after 45-50 mins. What was ordered from the restaurant & what was delivered was so different! Doing Mahakumbh, they are charging 10 times prices, and people like us are willing to pay, but the service is dropped by 10 times. Do not recommend this place all!

Great location and the restaurant in the property are USPs of this property. I stayed there for night of 15th Feb 2025. We booked room here will in advance still it was pretty expensive but coz of kumbh everything was expensive. We were offer first very sad room without window and Ac but as we booked the premium room we eventually were shifted to a good room with AC. When people were struggling to get food, we had very satisfying 2 meals at the hotel restaurant and food was also reasonable. All in all not a wow place in usual days but definitely an amazing option during Kumbh time.

SCAM! I had booked this place 3-4 weeks before arrival for staying in Maha Kumbh, for a group of 6 people through booking.com. Though since they did not ask for pre-payment I was a little skeptical, I assumed that must be their policy as is the case with many hotels on booking.com. However as I was going with a group of 6 with elderly people, travelling from abroad, I called them 2 days after booking to confirm the booking, and again a week before my arrival, and they said it was confirmed. On the day, I called them to say that we will be coming in a few hours, and out of nowhere he said our booking has been cancelled by booking.com, and they have no rooms available!!! I told them that it is super busy cause of the Mahakumbh and he asked us another few hotel which did not pick up. I called them about 17 times and they never called me back and when they picked up at last, I told them that since the booking shows as confirmed for me they will take money from my account from tomorrow so what to I do about that, and the guy literally just hung up on me. We were a group of 5 ladies and 1 kid travelling alone and were scared for our lives that we would have to spend the night in the taxi and as foreign citizens it was such a frightening experience. While we found accom in tent city at a last minute, the mismanagement of the hotel and inability to inform us put us in a very unsafe situation. Additionally, I spoke hindi and so there was no chance of there being miscommunication either. And, then the receptionist had the audacity to blame me and say you should have done a pre-payment when they never even asked for once during any of the calls I made to them prior, they did not even apologise once and were very rude. All of this occurred in the evening so way into the check in for them to have enough time to at least inform us of the situation, they told me when I can called them, if I hadn’t done that I would have found out when I got to the hotel.

best hotel in prayagraj we were group of 24 people and booked 11 rooms and each and every rooms were excellent and food was also very good... entire staff was so supportive

The manager on call was not at all supportive and helpful as he charged directly the 50% amount online in the form of advance booking with no scope of negotiations for a 2 non AC rooms ,even though we paid some in advance online. Totally Fraud and Scam People This is totally unacceptable and inconvenient and stressful at this point of hour.

We visited this during Kumbh. While the property is well located, and rooms are decent but the service @ restaurant is pathetic. Have to wait for more than an hour for preparation of food, it could be due to staffing issues. There were hardly any people in resturaunt but still there was massive delay in orders.

Had a great time in this new hotel, it opened only this week but the staff are so nice and professional They did above and beyond with every request The rooms are clean, the linens and towels are clean, ac and hot water in every room Can't wait to visit here again
