Dudhsagar Plantation

A real getaway. Great host, great (local and organic) food, great location. All for a reasonable price. We enjoyed the nature and its sounds without disturbance. Different hikes possible from the spot or a short drive away. We would definitely come back.

We (two couples) enjoyed our stay very much. The cottages were very clean and comfortable and suited to the forest location. Please do not expect Hilton type luxuries rather enjoy the forest setting and total peace and quiet. The natural pool was a delight and the simple food (vegetarian) was some of the tastiest we had in Goa. We were able to put our own drinks in the bar fridge which was handy for refreshment after a hot day of nature trails. Ashok (and staff) were very hospitable and also very helpful in suggesting alternatives to visiting the waterfalls which was not possible during our visit. Maybe next time! Thanks for a lovely 3 night stay.

A quiet place to get away from the hustle of city life and be surrounded by nature. ||The basic cottages were clean and tidy. The natural swimming pool was cool and refreshing during the humidity of monsoon rains. ||Ashok was helpful in arranging trips and taxis to and from the plantation. He also gave a great spice tour and was a fantastic host. ||The food was amazing and so much flavour using produce grown on the plantation. ||A great stay in Goa!

We had an excellent experience. Natural pool in the midst of trees was the highlight of the trip. The place is very peaceful. There is thick canopy of trees. Ashok and Uncle are very good hosts. There are also many places to visit nearby. Thank you for the wonderful experience.

The stay was lovely and we had a great time exploring the entire farm. The highlight was the pool which was quite unique. Ashok was an amazing host and was very helpful in guiding us with the nearby places to visit. Not to forget the amazing stories and conversations :) The food tasted good and the staff was courteous.

We loved our stay at Dudhsagar Plantation. Ashok was an amazing host who was super knowledgeable and helpful throughout our stay. The plantation itself is amazing and we were lucky enough to be given a spice tour whilst were there; which was both super interesting and inspiring- thanks Ganesh! We loved the natural pool too! We’ll definitely be back here next time we’re in Goa :)

Ashok is a lovely host, so pleasant to speak with and extremely helpful which enhances your overall experience at Dudhsagar plantation. They have cottages located in a lush plantation with common area, a natural swimming pool and an open well. We stayed in the cottage with the open shower and loved it. They serve vegetarian Goan style meals and it’s lip smacking good. It’s a great location to base yourself if you want to do some offbeat monsoon activities in Goa. Definitely recommend spending a few nights to slow down and be off the grid enjoying the sounds of nature.

If you’re after a stay in a natural sanctuary, this is a great choice. The place is a genuine multi-generational family conservation effort and a real gem. ||The huts have all the basic comforts and are very clean. The food is good. The natural pool is a delight and Ganesh’s spice tour is so informative and enriching. Ashok was so great at coordinating our arrival and gave fantastic recommendations for stops on the way to and from the farm, as well as what to do in the environs during our stay. ||If you’re after fluffy pillows and full mattresses this is not for you, but if you’re after solid basic comforts in an oasis which is becoming increasingly rarer in our world - I would wholeheartedly recommend.
