NillA must do for all nature lovers, when visiting Goa. Ride to the place was smooth, easy to locate. Guide accompanied us to the waterfall on safari, was knowledgeable. The highlight of the visit was the owner Mr Tanshikar, his love for nature was infectious, his knowledge about spices their origin and history was commendable. Really felt ‘Grounded’ at the end of the visit. The organic products would look pricey , but after hearing the pain and hard work put in to harvest them, they are worth it. The lunch served at the farm was delicious and rejuvenating. All in all a wonderful experience, highly recommended!

NillDuring my recent holiday at Tanshikar Spice Farm near Goa, I had an opportunity to experience a unique stay immersed in nature. The spice farm itself is picturesque, surrounded by lush greenery, and provides a peaceful retreat away from the city’s hustle and bustle. The room I stayed in was comfortable, but it had a few maintenance issues that detracted from the experience. The toilet door didn’t close properly, which was a small inconvenience that could be easily addressed with some basic upkeep. The property, being quite old, clearly needs more focused maintenance efforts to bring its infrastructure up to standard. When it comes to food, the offerings were fairly limited in variety. However, the quality and taste of the meals were quite good. I enjoyed the traditional flavors, and the ingredients appeared fresh, likely sourced directly from the spice farm. It’s evident that the culinary team puts thought and care into preparing each dish, making it a pleasant experience despite the lack of options. Overall, Tanshikar Spice Farm has the potential to be a great property, given its natural charm and tranquil atmosphere. With more attention to maintenance and a few updates to its infrastructure, it could elevate its guest experience significantly and become a standout destination for travelers seeking a unique farm stay near Goa.

NillAn enjoyable and informative way to spend the day. Clean and scenic landscape, good food, excellent spices for sale (also the cocoa is incredible!) The spice tour was led by an extremely knowledgeable and friendly man. I would highly recommend taking the time to travel to Tanshikar.

NillEnjoyed the informative farm tour. The staff were polite, helpful and knowledgeable. The 200 year old mud house is a must-see. The food was fresh, light and tasty. The organic store is well stocked with essential oils, honey, and spices. Tanshikar spice farm is a great weekend getaway destination.

NillSure! Tanshikar Spice Farm is truly a magical place, nestled in the heart of the forest. Its magic lies not only in the breathtaking nature that surrounds it, but even more so in the warmth and dedication of the people who live and work there. The tour of the plantation was absolutely fascinating. They shared in-depth explanations of traditional spice cultivation techniques and the medicinal properties of various plants, which added a rich layer of understanding to the experience. Afterward, we enjoyed an unforgettable lunch—everything homemade and incredibly delicious. It’s definitely worth the one-hour drive from Palolem. If you have a passion for Indian culture, cuisine, or simply love being immersed in nature, this place is an absolute must visit!

NillIt is an wonderful farm developed over the years by Tanshikar family and team—truly a must-visit for nature lovers. The owner, Chinmay, is down to earth, with a deep passion and knowledge about every aspect of nature. I highly recommend it to all tourists visiting Goa who are passionate about spending quiet time in nature. We had a good time visiting Waterfall and jeep forest ride along with night trail in forest. We also did e-bike ride in village. Food was really awesome with local Goan cuisine. We stayed for 2 nights in wooden cottage. We left the place with wonderful memories. Kudos to the farm team for their service and hard work!

NillAllow yourself this unique experience. The tour is really interesting and Chinmay explains all about local organic farming in the most interesting way. All food is growing on the farm itself or from the farms around. Cabins give the feeling as if you are one with nature but still keeping high levels.

NillAn ultimate experience!! If you are in Goa, its a must visit place. People in the farm are so lovely and sweet. The owner of the farm is so down to earth and interacts with everyone. He also makes sure that everyone is enjoying the meal or not by coming to each person's table. Got to know many things about organic farming. Chinmay was the one who guided us about the farm and she was awesome. I literally had tears in my eyes when I stepped into the owner's mud house reminding me what we are missing in our lives. This farm house has a seperate space in my heart now. Sir, as promised, please give me a call when you are in Hyderabad. Thanks for your hospitality and please allow us to give you something in return as you are giving so much to the nature.
