NillVisited the place for a friend's birthday. It's a pretty simple setting with great great food. It has almost everything you need to have a fun get away with friends. Located well away from the hustle and bustle, the road access could get better (especially the last stretch) so I'd advise not making use of cars that are too low. Ajit, the owner is very friendly and approachable and made sure that we all felt comfortable throughout our stay. The food is stunning. The staff accommodating. The rooms are comfortable, the pool is great. Shall definitely visit again..

★★★★★It was a pleasure visiting Cajueiro Homestead in Valpoi, during our visit to Goa, for a sibling reunion. |Our stay there was memorable. Thanks to Jack the owner/operator, Anant the Manager and the rest of the staff, including Champi the dog. Everyone was very attentive to our needs and ensured our comfort. The food was delicious and mouth watering - freshly made and richly flavoured. |I highly recommend anyone visiting or living in Goa to visit this slice of paradise. You will not be disappointed.

NillStayed there for 2 nights for a friend's birthday.. Loved the rooms as they were extremely spacious, very well kept and had a cute old-world-charm design element. Because we went there in a big group, we had the entire space to ourselves and it felt homely and comfortable. The food was great, very local and heart-warming! Would definitely recommend the space if you're looking for a local getaway with friends or family.

NillWe were a group of friends who stayed here in July 2022 for my birthday. Overall the place is great & in a big active farm with various fruits & veggies growing. The place has a very rustic vibe. The rooms were nice, comfortable, spacious & clean The staff were really helpful & accomodated all our requests. The food was delicious. It had a very homely feel to it. The swimming pool was the perfect size to enjoy in a group as large as ours. With regard to activities, you can ask them to show you around the farm or to nearby trek / waterfall trails. The only tricky part is the last stretch of the approach road towards the rooms. It is a stone road which can get mucky in the rain. Overall it was a great experience & I would definitely visit again. Thank you Jack, Anant & team.

NillWe spent 2 nights at Cajueiro Homestead for a friends birthday. From the moment we got there till the time we left we had a fantastic time! The rooms are clean and comfortable. The host, Jack and his staff are absolutely wonderful and took really good care of us. The food, be it breakfast, lunch or dinner, was spectacular. The property has a lovely walking trail that takes you around their beautiful property. And if you're lucky to visit during Urrack season then you'll have access to some of the best Urrack I've had. A great stay whether with family or friends! Can't wait to come visit again!

Nill1. Google maps cannot find this place. We wasted 1 hr finding the exact road to here. 2. Access road is a narrow soggy mud trail with bushes and stick shrubs poking into the trail. New cars, wide cars, cars without traction control will get STUCK and damaged. As mine did. After the first car in our group went thru, the remaining 3 cars returned home. 3. A pen diagram pic should be posted by the owners here depicting the correct route. 4. Not recommended due to poor access and no help from the care takers.

NillCajueiro Homestead gave us the warm experience of visiting a family's home and not a typical hotel or resort. Our plan was to reach the property by 11 am, but we got delayed as we couldn't quite find our way, and G-maps was of no help. Thankfully Anand from the property came to our rescue and escorted us personally. Adding signboards at important junctions could easily solve this problem. While the last stretch of the road is of mud and highly uneven, our group actually enjoyed this off-roading experience!! Once at the homestay, we were very warmly received by Ajit, the owner and his team. The kids immediately felt at ease and had ample space to run around and keep themselves busy. They thoroughly enjoyed the swimming pool and a game of carrom. The best experience was travelling to the river closeby. The staff accompanied us. Adults and kids had a memorable experience in the Bolero pickup 4×4. For us adults especially it was like becoming a child once again. The river side was serene and calming. Just standing there in the water was most relaxing. Back at the property we enjoyed some tasty masala papad and chicken starters. The rest of the food could have been better. The spread was decent and the quantity generous. The next morning we woke up early to a walk around the property - plenty of cashew, lime and jackfruit trees - a refreshing experience indeed. The breakfast that followed was authentic and very tasty. Another dip in the pool, and it was time to say goodbye. Our schedule said we had to leave, but our hearts said "yeh dil maange more". Throughout the weekend, the staff were helpful and most hospitable. The rustic feel of the place is good but some areas need to be spruced up. Overall an off-beat, old world charm experience, thoroughly enjoyed by all. We are delighted that we chose Cajueiro Homestead for our reunion. We carry back sweet memories that will be cherished for a long, long time!! :)

NillWe are always on the look out for weekend getaway properties in and around Goa as we do alot of 2-day weekend trips with a group of friends and Cajueiro Homestead absolutely hits the brief. Our group of 15 was welcomed with thirst-quenching coconut water and malai for all and treated so well by the staff throughout our stay there.the property has a pool and spacious rooms with comfortable beds, hot water and great water pressure. Not sure how many like me appreciate good water pressure but I thought it was worth a mention. All around, there are trees, plants and greenery with the farm producing its own pineapples, limes and cashew among other things. The common area and wrap-around balcony of sorts is a great place to hang out, snack and eat while catching up with friends. The food was beyond amazing with traditional goan fare like prawn curry, rice, dal, fried fish and chicken xavuti with bread. Snacks were also top notch. Bhajiyas, kapas and tea and coffee ro our hearts content! And my fave, breadfruit or neerphanas! All in all, we had a wonderful time and we're really hosted well by the staff who truly made us feel at home!
