NillWell maintained, clean guesthouse run by a nice family. Beautiful views. It’s in upper Bhagsu, so there’s a lot of uphill walking. The last 30 meters have to be walked by foot.

★Stayed with my boyfriend for a month. When I talked, the owner said different prices, but my boyfriend had a different price. After a week we found out that cleaning is not included. Feeling disappointed, although the room is good, the view is beautiful. I don't recommend it.

NillI recently had the pleasure of staying at Jagatram Niwas, and I can't recommend it enough! I visited in March-April and was welcomed with incredible warmth by the whole family. The owner was super accommodating, arranging everything I needed from meals to taxis and even laundry services. His older son, Vikas, a professional trekking guide, took me on a fantastic trek to Triund, showing me all the secret paths and best viewpoints. The highlight of my stay was the delicious, authentic northern Indian meals we shared, cooked by the family themselves. I even had the honor of being adopted as a nephew by the sweet grandmother of the house! If you're looking for a genuinely authentic Himalayan hospitality experience, this is the place for you. Five stars all the way!

NillI asked nicely for a small discount because the outdoor bathroom was poor, but the guy wouldn't budge. No bathroom of my own and hot water trickled out. Charged me 600 for laundry! WiFi wasn't strong in my room so had to sit outside to get good connection. Got woken up at 6am most mornings also because the boy went to school and they don't know how to be quiet. Overall nice dog and kind women but for 800 a night comparing to other others around town its not the best.

NillI liked the place. I stayed 1 month . The room was not bad. Nice view from the terasse. Safe place . Quiet place until there is neighbor that open loud music . The familly is nice. There is a kitchen with a fridge. When I ask for toilet paper, he ask me to pay. Also, when we arrived 21 march, it was really really cold ( that temperature at this time was not normal, like 7 degres ) . So, he offert a heather and charged us 200 r per night for it. I was a bit schock , I could not beleive I had to pay for it…. but I was diying of cold, I had no choice … Probably when it’swarmer, it’s nicer. Also, you are in the mountain, so you have to be oki with the fact that power that come and goes. Also, the road stop before the guesthouse, so you have to walk with your lugage to reach the house. :)

★★★★★My son had stayed here twice and recommended it!! I was not disappointed!! The host Bavinder Singh was terrific. He arranged to pick me up and to take me back to the airport. The location is great, though not handicapped accessible. After taking a Tuk tuk you had to walk about a half a mile. An employee met and led me upon my arrival. The walk and locale added to rather than detracted from the experience. It is located outside of Dharmkot "a Hippie village" with meditation center Tushita. Bavinder, his family, and employees, especially Matthew did everything in their power to accommodate me.Very quiet, peaceful, with a fantastic view and nearby sights.. Reasonable rates that included breakfast. Bavinder invited me to dine with his family in their quarters my last night. I was one of the highlights of my 30 daty journey in Nepal and India!!!

★★★★★Jagatram Niwas was exactly what I wanted. It’s a lovely guesthouse with beautiful views down the valley, very quiet and peaceful, tucked away above the main town. My room was very nice and clean. The owner is nice and helpful. Really easy to get to the Triund hike, and other hiking areas. Be prepared for a steep walk up and down the hill from the guesthouse to get to town, and also be advised that you can’t reach the guesthouse by car so you will have to walk with your luggage for the last 15 minutes—but it is well worth it for the beautiful, serene setting!
