I spent just over a week here during my extended stay in McLeod. I really loved the guest house and the vibe here. Great location just out of the way from the main square so it’s quiet but still central. The staff are very nice and even make food that can be delivered to your room. I’ll definitely stay here again when I come back!

Stayed at Shree for two weeks and loved it here. The location is perfect: Located in a quiet area in upper McLeod Ganj you step on the terrace and see Deodars and other trees, facing west you get the sunset. In less than a 5 minutes walk you are at the main square. Rooms are clean and comfy, staff very kind and helpful- the other guests seemed to be regulars :) Kailwood Guesthouse is run by the same owners, so you can also have tea, breakfast etc on their terrace facing east down the valley! Highly recommended

I booked this place for my parents instead of a hotel so as to give them a local experience, but in their 3 days of stay, they never saw the owner. Only one caretaker was there who was clearly too busy to tend to them. Every time they needed something, they had to either call the owner or track down the caretaker. The washbasin in the bathroom was leaking, so my parents had to constantly clean it up so that they would not fall and hurt themselves as they were elderly. There were spiders in the bathroom and cockroaches on the bed!!! Not once during their 3 day stay was the room cleaned. The property asks you to pay 50% advance of room rent in order to confirm your booking, but when the rest of the bill was supposed to be paid, they included the amount I had already paid. And had to be reminded to take it off. It was a very unpleasant experience, and I think the reviews might be for the other properties the owner owns in the vicinity than this one. I was hugely disappointed as I had tried so hard to book a pleasant stay for them. Location is the only plus point

Such a quiet Guest House, surrounded by deodar cedar trees, so closed to the bustling little Macloadganj center. ( 2 minutes walk down, 3 minutes walk up back).

It was an excellent stay in Shree Guest House .Rooms are very spacious and clean. The location is superb and nearby to main square and bus stand. Owner of property is so helpful and friendly. We will get feel of home stay and it is strongly recommended for couples and family. Prices of room were reasonable .

This is such a lovely guesthouse! It is located in a quiet area just above the taxi stand in Mcleod Ganj surrounded by beautiful trees in a peaceful and serene area. The staff working here are absolutely fantastic and they go out of their way to help you in every possible way. Their are kindness and thoughtful nature make staying at Shree Guest House a wonderful experience.. The rooms are clean and spacious and heaters are provided at an extra and reasonable cost. Thank you, guys!
