The best place in India! Apu and sushi are amazing, they made us feel like we’re at home. The view is amazing, the room is very comfortable and of course the quiet of Meteora is wonderful. We will definitely come again.

Best place in Meteora. We had an amazing 4 days around there. Right after you enter the place it feels like home. Hosts are kind and funny, food is great with really fair prices. Roof has best view in Meteora and within 10 minutes walking you can take a local from Jari to wherever you want. Highly recommended

Amazing experience! Sushant and Apurva are incredibly warm hosts who make sure that you have the best time. The views are gorgeous, the air is crisp, the food is delicious and the place is really well maintained! Would 100 percent recommend!

We came here with another couple and our daughter. It's amazingly clean, great views, relaxing, a great roof view, can do 4-5 day walks around the area, food great, and an amazing and kind friendly couple run it. They deserve support and business!!! Totally recommend Probably you need at least 2 days to get into it... But for sure go for it. It suits young and also suited us!!

A must-visit in Mateura, Himachal Pradesh! This cozy cafe, nestled in lush apple gardens, offers a stunning terrace view and incredible food. Run by the charismatic Sushant and Apurva, the place radiates positive vibes. Their adorable dog, Leo, is a sweetheart. The food is fresh, flavorful, and comforting. Between the views, delicious meals, and welcoming hosts, this cafe is the perfect spot to relax and recharge!

Mateuda is a quaint and quiet village in Himachal Pradesh which took me about 7 hours to reach from Chandigarh by taxi. Located at a vantage point, High Spirits Hostel boasts of a unique combination of divine views, pleasant weather, delicious food, homely hospitality, unobtrusive rooms and of course the goodest puppers Leo, Saturn and Matli. The hostel is equipped with a kitchen and fulltime chefs, a café, rooms and a terrace sit-out area. The café has plenty of activities like painting, a dart board, books, chess, playing cards and also has a heater for the winters. High speed WiFi is available for those who want to stay connected or work remotely. There is a badminton court in the village and David Waterfall is a 30 minute walk away (do meet Krishna Bhaiji at Camp David and ask for the mountain tea). Kasol is a 20 minute bus ride away, so the hostel is a perfect place to stay if you want to stay close yet away from the bustle of a main town. The hosts Apurva and Sushant have several years of experience in trekking and camping across the Himalayas. They brought location recommendations, best places to eat and of course in-house food (literally) to the table. Some must-haves from the food menu are the Iced Americano, Oats in Coconut Milk with fresh fruits, and the godly yet sinful Milkybar Chapati (caution: addictive). A solid 10/10 recommendation for anyone travelling to Himachal Pradesh. Can't wait to go back to the Parvati People!

That's exactly what I was looking for. Beautiful view, amazing people and staff, great coffee, clean rooms, peace and quiet while looking at the Himalayas. Really, everything I was hoping for and beyond. Can't wait to come back.

High Spirits indeed, this homestay is run by two remarkable people. Firstly it is very clean, it only has four rooms two with ensuite and two with shared bathroom but hurry they fill up quickly. Their food is a delicious mix of Indian and Western. The location is to die for, just walk out the gate turn left or right and follow the path to the middle of majestic pine forests, magical waterfalls and you might just think you stepped through the wardrobe into Narnia. We had the best time it's great even for old people like me stepping way out of their comfort zone and perfect for backpackers. Don't miss out on high spirits cafe and hostel.
