Kasol Wooden Cottage

Awesome Stay. The place is having option to stay as 03 people in a single room with separate beds and as well as couple sharing. Neat and clean interior and exterior gives awesome feel of stay at 🏔️ Mountains. Multiple options for bonfire available. Best part is quality of food is very good. Generally people don't like food at Kasol but the team of this cottage will serve with best quality and full of portions. Good work and highly recommended.

We had booked this hotel through TrekNGo and let me tell you we had the worst experience of our life with them. The location of this hotel is so remote, you'll have to hike to reach there. We were there in winters and that wooden room was as cold as the outside of the room. Cold air was passing through poorly build wooden walls of it. They did provide an extra blanket but we couldn't keep our feet on ground or come out of blanket as it was cold as hell there. Washroom was ok. The room service person was asleep at 8 in the morning and refused to bring water in the room. They didn't even take any ID for booking. Just gave the room directly. This can be extremely unsafe. If you still want to book it then don't book it through TrekNGo or even through MakeMyTrip. You'll get it cheaper in person. Also you'll get many other good options in kasol than this.

Had a great experience over there though the road or the way to reach the cottage was not very easy, you have to climb a bit to reach there. But the staffs were friendly and helpful too. It was a proper backpacker stay type, they were playing music which makes the ambience awesome.

If your with friends, this is the best place to book. (Not advisable with family ) It requires a walk to reach here but they will help you for same. Tariffs are reasonable. Rooms are very comfortable and spacious. I have stayed here for multiple nights, had a best time here. Food was good too, overall a great experience.

The only thing that you will get is the view of snow top of Himalayas and that you will get after climbing 100meters stony steps, hardly visible after sunset. The service is very poor, we ordered for tea but 30 minutes when we enquiry we come to know it was not even placed at all then.

Nestled beautiful at the top and is only accessible by foot. From the parking place you'll have to hike for 5 minutes to reach the place. Magnificent views from the hostel and is decently priced. The food you get here is wonderful and don't forget to try the groundnut masala. There are a lot of cafés down the hostel and the taxi stand is easily accessible

Would not recommend this place for a family. It's more of a bag pack trip place. The rooms are really small, and the climb to this place is dangerous. You have to climb steep hills and walk 10 minutes from car park to get here. The breakfast was okay Do not eat the omlet Maggie here its pathetic. Paratha is something I will recommend. But try and avoid this place if you are with family. Also it's a wooden cottage so no smoking or lighting candles, however the electrical fittings are in wood without any isolation so a small spark is enough to ignite this place

It's a perfect stay at Kasol near Market. The room in which I have stayed was of wooden glass windows and it was snowing outside, the view was so mesmerizing at the peak of winter. One must stay over here. The only thing about this place is you have climb stairs which seems risky during winter and monsoon. Also, it is very affordable and wonderful stay. Even the staff was friendly.
