Balaji Guest House

I was on my business trip and due to heavy rush at my regular hotels I could not get the room there. Hence I decided to book the room in this hotel. This hotel is situated off Shimla highway on village Kamli road. This road further leads to famous Timber Trail hotel. ||||I checked in in night. I was tired due to travelling and wanted to take dinner and sleep to get fresh and be ready for tomorrow. The hotel had kitchen facility and very interestingly Pure Veg food was being served in rooms. I happily ordered Veg Thali and after some time I got the food. Taste was ok and quantity was quite heavy for me. ||||The room was quite spacious and looking just built or renovated. There were 2 windows. One was opening towards valley side from which I could see hills on which Timber trail hotel is built and adjoining valley. Near this valley, Highway bypass is being built to avoid traffic Kalka and Parwanoo. As the hotel is off highway it was quite peaceful. Other facilities in room like attached bathroom, TV were good. The bathroom was also quite spacious. Wall hanging was nice. Sofa was bit old one and later in my stay the hotel took it for repairs. Overall the room was good. The food and room service was also ok. ||||The only factor was price was bit higher than local hotels. They charged me fare for AC room however it was definitely not useful in winter. I had to sleep with Rajai in nice cold with sweater and muffler. The hotel was not ready to adjust for non AC room fare. ||||Overall it was good experience but the hotel should be ready to reduce the fares in off season.

This is very great guest house in Parwanoo and is known by its great service and low cost. Breakfast is free in this hotel and the dinner and lunch is also delicious and economical. Room tariff is very less. food and drinks are available for room service and the service is very fast. Interior and exterior of this hotel is excellent.

On what grounds do I rate it! ||It's not a hotel at all it's just a bed and breakfast for budget travellers.||U have much better options in Parwanoo to stay.||The food is also stale and not good. ||Would surely not recommend to anyone

This was a great hotel staff was very good and everything was so neat and clean that we enjoyed our stay here very much this hotel is really good and we recommend this hotel. We are thankful for manager for his support and good behaviour. Wish to be here again.

It was nice decent guest house and if you are looking for something simple then you can surely go for this guest house
