Field View Estate Bungalow

We had a very pleasant stay at field view estate bungalow. The owner and the staff were extremely welcoming and hospitable during the entire two days of our stay. This is an ideal place for families and groups looking for a private stay. The property is surrounded by greenery of rich coffee plantations and also has a small natural stream where you can take a dip or just read and relax by the stream. You can also take short hikes on the property itself. Overall we had a very relaxing stay and would highly recommend to everyone looking for a similar experience!

Location was too good surrounded by nature. Rooms were near and clean. But office room and dining room was combined together which was little uncomfortable, feels like disturbance in our privacy. Timing restriction for night campfire was disappointing. As seen in the picture there is a small natural pond with no water because the water coming into the pond was directly drained out and management need to do something to stock the water. This property doesn't have any extra equipments to engage the guest like playing balls, tennis or something like that. Apart from the location and cleanliness I don't find any good thing in this property.

Fantastic location and awesome & very well maintained property surrounded by coffee estates, A natural mountain stream and pool with continuously flowing water is in the property. Camp fire and barbecue is arranged there. Owner - Mr Vimeesh and his staff stay on property, are very friendly and accessible 24 hours for any help. Food is prepared according to the guests demand and is delicious. Hardly 10 minutes drive from Kalpetta, a must visit place in Wayanad

Rooms are too small that an extra cot won't be fitted. And this property doesn't have enough rooms to occupy even 10 people. Theres almost no view only surrounded with coffee plants. And their food is good in taste but very limited options, and absolutely non-customisable. The owner qutoed that they dont have enough man power or his cooks are not that efficient that they can cook some food of our choice. ie: we asked onion pakoda as evening snacks cant even make that giving some lame excuses and we asked for lunch instead of dinner, they just refused it. Overall its not at all recommended . Very boring stay if you are travelling alone or as a couple also. All the sight seeing are at long distance.

We really have a very good time in this lovely homestay. We asked for Jain food and they really prepared very delicious food, I will surely recommend for any Jain people who would like to have Jain food in this Homestay. Rooms are very clean, and service is very prompt, starting from tea/coffee or water bottle. Homestay owner is really very nice and down to earth personality, he has arranged coffee garden walk-through without any charges. This was amazing experience as we pass through some tribal village/home. They also have Bad-Minton to play in very nice area, small natural swimming pool, it's amazing place and very neatly maintained. The view is great from the homestay, if you want to live in pure nature then this homestay is perfect. I will recommend anyone who is looking for homely homestay and away from city traffic/areas then this place is perfect for family/couple or big groups.

If you want sheer peace and tranquility.... stay here on weekdays. Simple, tasty sumptuous South Indian dishes. You can get your Nirvana here. The owner is a very deeply spiritual individual who has seen the world more than one can assess and he is a very engaging person while keeping the distance required to maintain boundaries.

Host and service is very bad. Owner had put his office inside the room itself. He will be always sitting. No privacy. He didn't arranged for dinner we had ordered outside. He was not flexible for camp fire and we didn't feel good.

##HOMESTAY WITH ZOMATO SWIGGY FOOD## We booked this homestay after reading so many good reviews about homemade food, location and room quality and we get promise from vimeesh(host) about freshly prepared food availablity while booking. But we get disappointed as last minute Vimeesh(host) denied the lunch & dinner for both the days of our stays and asked us to order from zomato swiggy. We prepared maggi in our kettle to survive at night(attached picture of whatsapp about dinner non availablity). Room quality : At premise there are 2 rooms available at backside of homestay. Suite and premium Suite is small room with queen bed(bad quality for family and couple) A coupboard, refrigerator available. No kettle, no iron option, no wifi. Bathroom is good with hot water available with bucket & mug. Coffee plantation in 40 acre which is gimmick to me. You can only roam around in 1 acre near the building of homestay and rest is owner coffee farms(cant walk or visit inside). Water stream inside premises is good to enjoy. Overall I would not recommend this place to stay for family or couples because its in middle of village inside 3 km with no road acess for 500m. Reaching here by SUV will be a challenge(fine for who do not want to go back to visit wayanad sights). To Vimeesha(owner): if you cannot provide lunch dinner to customers dont make false promises over during booking. Ordering food from zomato or swiggy is not what tourist came to experience.
