Saryu Sankul HomeStay

I had a wonderful stay at Saryu Sankul. The host is really kind. I had to get a few things from the nearby market so he took me with him. We got late for the checkout but he was very patient and didn't hurry. We extended our stay in Ayodhya by one night but since the homestay was already sold out we had to shift to some other hotel. He helped us not only find one homestay but also helped us with our luggage and dropped us. Food is also available at the homestay. It was really nice and homely. Also it is not a hotel where you can expect 5 stars luxuries but it is a decent homestay with all the basic amenities. Saryu river is 2mins walks from here, very convenient for the night aeti and laser show. Ayodhya mandir is also 3 kms. Highly recommended!

We booked 2 double bed room and one large room with three beds. Rooms were like a 2 /3 star hotel room. Room prices were slightly on higher side. As our train got delayed for 3 hours. The owner let us stay there for few extra hours.Owner was very cordial. Beware ⚠️ of Monkeys around the hotel.

I don't know about how they manage the guests and their hospitality, but my experience with family was too bad. They told me about short circuit issue at stay on the day of checkin which may be true or maybe not. They shifted us to a bad location where there were no roads, no proper way and charging high price which is not worth it. Secondly, the behaviour of staff was too rude and bad. U can't talk or express anything to them because they will speak in rude tone only. also, don't have food at the stay, it was terrible and not worth the price. Prabhat Ji is an excellent host and they have a cute property with 4 double bed rooms and one room with 3 double bedas where a family of 6 can easily live in. They have in house options of food available as well. Will definitely recommend families to stay here. Ram Mandir is at walking distance of about one KM.

It was a nice Ayodhya Trip with saryu Sankul. Very close to Saryu river only 200 meter. 5 min walkable distance, Mandir also 1.5 km from homestay.

Excellent place with awesome food in home preparation, good service all neat n clean.

Avoid this place. Location is not easy to access. Narrow way to reach here.
