Maatu Shri Guest House

I recently stayed at this hotel near Krishna Janambhoomi Gate No. 2 and had a pleasant experience. The location is ideal, making it easy to explore the surrounding area. The rooms were spacious, with large beds that comfortably accommodated our group of four for Rs. 900. The owner's behavior was particularly noteworthy, as they were friendly and provided valuable guidance during our stay. Additionally, drinking water was readily available, and the rooms were clean and well-maintained. However, there was one drawback: the toilets had a persistent unpleasant odor. Improving toilet cleaning or using air fresheners would greatly enhance the overall experience. Overall, this guest house offers excellent value for money, especially considering its prime location. With some improvement in toilet maintenance, it would be an excellent choice for travelers.

Very near to Janam Bhoomi temple. Good service. Very Compact. For safety of customers, heater not fixed in bathroom, whereas as and when required, if v ask them they r providing to our room itself. Overall Very compact. Nice people. Ajit Saab very kind enough.V have visited during December 2019, winter. The bedsheets and the rugs provided were very comfortable and neat. Totally, it was a memorable one. Like to visit again.

It was an awsome experience to stay at the Maatu Shri Guest House. The facility is very nice and clean (even for european standards) and it is close to some good places in Mathura. But by far the best thing about this place is the owner, who is very helpfull and knows so much about the history and the peculiarities of the city. I will never forget my stay here. So I can give this place 5 Stars without any doubt and I hope to be there again soon! =)

This a a very decent place to stay. The rooms are good and they give hot water for bucket shower. It deserves a 5 star because the staff people are very very good. You may find other “better ” places but not “better and trustable” people. “Pandey” ji is always there to help you. Honest persons to the core.

Very clean atmosphere. Serene, tranquil & affordable place near Krishna janm bhumi. Pleasant view of mathura from the balcony. Safe to live for women. Good part is the owner & staff ( Pandey ji) are genuine, supportive & friendly. Overall very satisfactory experience. Will really want to visit this hotel again. I like to greet the owners good wishes & all the success in near future. I would definitely recommend others to come by & stay here; the cleanliness, hospitality & ambiance is really great! ~ Dr. Neha pareek

Stayed for 3 days with entire family and relatives. Best part is everyone could freely sleep in one big room. Had a very good experience. Especially, the owner is a nice person and very helping nature. May God Bless him 🙏 It's a perfect option to stay.

I always try to find a new & affordable guest house instead of big ones, so for me this was my best choice for stay in Mathura. After a nightmare train travel from Pune, this place was a revelation. The location is just next to Shri Krishna Janamsthan, close to market place. Rooms are spotlessly clean, beautiful and large enough to feel yourself comfortable even for a long stay. Very friendly staff who do their best to make your stay comfortable. .

Please do not visit here, I booked it online and later had regret. Not at all hygienic, dirty rooms, in rooms even guiser is not there. They mainly focus on offline bookings where they earn more. Worst experience and a learning. TIP: Do not book hotel in mathura it has only Janam bhoomi, book hotel in Vrindavan as main temple is there also it's near to barsana, gobardhan compare to mathura.
