This is simple but excellent accommodation, where you get to see both sunrise and sunset. A variety of stay options, a roof terrace for Sadhana, plenty of space to socialise and rest, wholesome meals, fruit, snacks, tea and coffee available all day. And the best part is the community that it attracts. A real island of calm in the storm that is Maha Kumbh Mela.

We booked this place because it was walkable to the Ghat, and while the location was very convenient, the service was absolutely terrible. Day 1: • We arrived at 5 AM, as planned, but no one was there to give us the keys. Despite being assured someone would be available, we had to wait until 6:30 AM with kids. • The room was dirty—used soaps were left behind, there was no fan, and mosquitoes were everywhere. • Breakfast was just Upma, which was poorly made with half-cooked vegetables. However, lunch and dinner was good (roti, two curries, and rice). • By the end of the day, there was no water in the bathrooms. Day 2: • Still no water in the bathrooms, despite informing Adarsh in advance and requesting it to be fixed before our 4 AM checkout. Nothing was done, making our morning extremely difficult. • We had to use the common toilets, which were in terrible condition—some had no doors/locks, many lacked working flushes, and none had hand wash. • The pantry area was filthy—dinner tables weren’t cleaned until the next day, and the pantry was completely unkept, with food items thrown everywhere. • When checking out, we were asked to pay double the agreed amount. We had to talk to Shashwath to correct it. With the kind of poor service, lack of cleanliness, and mismanagement we experienced, “disappointed” is an understatement. While the location is good, I would not recommend staying here.

A very lovely place to stay. The energy here is holy and the guesthouse is placed on an ashram ground which makes it even more special. It is very close to the kumbh mela ground by walk. I can definitely suggest this place and would come back anytime 🙏🏽
