Khushi Paying Guest House

Stayed here twice on my solo travel. Great place to stay. Rooms are always clean and spotless. The location also suits me - Tulsi ghat- Assi ghat , Indica Books, one of the best lassi outlets ( that also sells proper authentic Roshogollas- a rare thing in North India) , a couple of cool cafés - Everything that I need is very close to this Guest House. One thing that I would have loved is the guest house to remain open atleast until 1 AM. And open at 4 AM , so that I could stay a bit late at the ghats/ leave early for the ghats. Overall, very good experience and I hope to come back here again. Soon.

Stayed in khushi paying guest for 2 nights. Room was nice for 2 persons, and d bathroom was also good. However, there is no room service, no phone in the room, no one to help you with your luggage, everytime you need something you have to come down 2 floors or go up, very tiring. They said they hv a rooftop from where Ganges could be seen while we booked around 15 days earlier but when we reached, there was construction going on so no question of watching d river, which was a downer. I didn't expect a five star hotel type feel with d price i paid but a little assistance from f front desk was expected. Entrance was highly deceptive. Very very narrow lane with a cowshed nearby. Assi ghat is around 10 to 15 mind from d hotel

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The room was clean, stylish, and very comfortable. The bed was heavenly, and the bathroom was spotless with great amenities. The staff was exceptional—friendly, helpful, and quick to assist with any request. The hotel also had a great atmosphere, and the location was prime. I couldn’t have been more satisfied with my stay and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a top-notch hotel experience!"

It totally a very experience, location is perfect, near assi ghat, rooms are clean and well maintained, and the service is also good, patience and well understanding staff. I wanted to extend a day of my stay and at the last min, and they have done it without any complaint.

Located perfectly near the ghats and all the temples. You can reach out to them if you have any questions, help needed regarding your stay. Rooms were spacious and very clean. All the staff members were very friendly, helpful and went out of their way to make my stay comfortable. Thank you Aniketji, Aashuji, Didi and everyone else for all your help!! I had a wonderful stay at Khushi Paying Guest House. The room was clean, spacious, and well-maintained, offering a comfortable place to relax after a busy day. The hotel staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, always going out of their way to assist. Communication was easy, and they were open to negotiating prices and additional services. I especially appreciated their help in arranging a private boat ride on the Ganges and a city tour with an experienced guide. Both experiences were seamless and well-organized, adding so much value to my trip. I highly recommend this guest house to anyone visiting the area!

I stayed at Khushi Guest House for a week in Nov 2024 and overall I like their rooms and exceptional services. Mentioned below are the key points Location: - If you are visiting Kashi Viswanath or Manikarnika or Kal Bhairav, then this is not the place to stay because its either a 1 hour walk thro the ghats or a 15 min rickshaw ride to Godowlia followed by a 30 mins walk thro the gallies. - But if your goal is to hang out around Tulsi Ghat, Assi Ghat, Sankat Mochan Hanuman temple or okay with the long walk to Kashi Viswanath mandir, then you should be fine Services: - They have excellent room service. Ashu bhai and Praveen bhai both of them are so sweet and helpful and go out of the way to get things done for you. Their room service is excellent Food: - They do not have a in house restaurant. But they have a veg restaurant right across the street from the main road which has decent selections and also Swiggy/ Zomato are deliverable here. So you should be good with getting some food of your choice, just not onsite but accessible thro the above services - They also have a shared kitchen on terrace if you wanna cook your own food Rooms: - Rooms are excellent. They come with hand wash, kettle, hot water, big rooms, nice and clean bathrooms. - They have a terrace with a decent view (no view of Ganges) - They have rooms of varying sizes but all of them are clean and neat - If you choose a bigger room, it was able to fit in my yoga mat and also prayer altar Noise: - You cant hear road noise as long as you select the room that is not facing the road. So if you are a sensitive to noise, make sure you let them know you want a room not facing the road - But the downside is, they have a laundry machine that runs almost all day until around 8 pm at night. If you are gonna be outside during the day it would not be a problem, but if you are gonna wake up late or just hang out in the room during the day, just know that their laundry machine continuously runs most of the day and it might affect you depending on how sensitive you are to sound and which room you choose. I was given the room thats right above laundry room and it messed up my sleep during the day as I was sick and was just at my room all day for one day - They also have kids running and yelling in the ground floor (mostly only on Sundays) , but if you tell the room service people, they will tell the kids to keep quiet, but this is something to expect as well Safety: - This is very safe, both in the rooms and also walking at night around the area Overall: - Pros: Room service, Room quality, safety - Cons: Noise, No Food onsite - Neutral: Price, Location

I stayed there last year,Everything was good, So 4 days back i again visited Varanasi, And decided to stay at the same place... But this time my experience was awful, Didn't like it..Blanket was dirty,(der was blood spots in blanket) Ac was not working,it was too hot in their... So in short.. I wont recommend it.. Worst experience.
