The location of the hotel is good, the only problem is its room. We booked a 4 bed room but it was tremendously short on space. Not recommended if you are travelling with family. The only plus point is that this hotel is situated by the Dashashwamedh Ghat and is close to the Kashi Vishwanath Dham.

It was a old one. But the new owner renewed and modernized it with an excellent space management. One may get a good rate by bargaining. Inverter facility is also available. Very clean and attractive, but staffs are not co-operative. I had asked for a jag of water at morning, but till afternoon I get nothing. And there is no bell also for room service. Management should pay attention on it.

We booked the room for 3 person. But the size of the bed is just for 2 person only and the size of the room is very very small, it was that small that we are not able to stand, the whole room is covered with bed only, there is even no space that two people can stand together, the hotel manager was very rude, he only gave us 1 blanket out of 3 people and also they didn't provide toiletries and Room Service. so overall it was a terrible experience for us, I suggest to people that not to visit or make plan to go to this hotel because at last you will feel disappointed and regret the moment you booked the hotel.

The room are very small , no space for our luggage, and if manage space for luggage then very difficult to open. The top floor rooms are little spacious than lower. Entrance of this property is ridiculous. Rooms are full of bugs and different insect, so sleeping in night was very difficult. Only one plug point in every room. Overall room management or space management very bad. I'm giving 2 star because of its location. it's very near to ghat. If you come through train you have to walk almost 750 Mt( as per Google map, from girja ghar or godoliwa which is the last point for auto or cab, to hotel) to reach hotel.

Well nothing much to say about the place. Cheap and located close to the Ghat. The hotel attendent Mr. Upadhyay is extremely nice and helpful. As vehicles are not allowed till the hotel gate you have to walk for about 8 minutes to reach the hotel and Mr. Upadhyay helped us to carry the luggage. The rooms are small and clean, don't expext any luxury service.

My stay at Gopal residency was very comfortable. I found the owner and staff to be really helpful, particularly with parking issues when I arrived late at night. I was provided with nearby parking options. The hotel is very close to the ghats and local markets. Would recommend if you would like to visit the serene ghats and spend time shopping local products.

Rooms are small but manageable. Batroom is clean. Place is near ghat and main market. Staff is cooperative. Price is nomal not expensive and not cheap.
