I received first-class service from the moment I arrived at the hotel until the moment I left. The prime location of the hotel is a big plus. The facilities were top-notch, and the view from my room was simply stunning.I highly recommend river view paying guest house because of its clean and comfortable rooms. This was on the top of the list of best stays/experiences ever. The friendly and helpful staff were there for every need of mine. Thank you so much for making my trip memorable.❤️🥰

I had booked room in this paying guest house. But when I reached the person Deepak Singh said that the room is already sold. The room was already sold even though the room was confirmed. The person never informed me before the room will be not available. I will recommend you all not to select this property when you book this from Agoda or Booking. Com. Zero ratings to this property 😡

I had a disappointing experience with this hotel. Despite booking from December 27-29, 2024, the owner cancelled my reservation without notice through Goibibo. I'm extremely dissatisfied with the service. I have never ever suggest to book this stay and Goibibo should refund my money as 2 x as I will have to bear the cost of inflated new bookings. Disappointed!

Horrible Experience – Stay Away from This Place I had pre-booked this hotel almost a month in advance for a stay from **14th to 16th December** and had multiple conversations with Deepak (owner/manager) to confirm my booking. While traveling to the hotel, I even called and texted him from the train, reminding him to have my room ready. Despite his repeated assurances, I was shocked to find upon arrival that my room was **not available** because the previous guest had extended their stay. After a long, exhausting journey with my elderly parents, this was nothing short of a nightmare. Deepak was shockingly rude and completely unprofessional, showing zero accountability for the situation. Instead of offering a proper resolution, he took us to alternative lodges that were beyond disgusting—dirty, unhygienic, and completely opposite to what had been advertised online. It was **insulting** to even suggest these places as options after taking my money and confirming my booking. What’s worse, locals told me that this is **a regular scam** he runs—taking pre-bookings, collecting advance payments, and then giving away rooms to others. All the so-called “positive reviews” about this place are clearly fake or paid, and the photos online are completely deceptive. There’s no sea view or any of the amenities advertised—just lies to trap unsuspecting guests. To add to the misery, the location is nothing like it’s described. It’s **not near Assi Ghat** but instead near Ravidas Ghat, which is a far worse and inconvenient location. This ordeal cost us **2-4 hours** of precious time arguing with this unprofessional person and frantically searching for an alternative place to stay at the last minute, forcing us to spend significantly more money. The stress and frustration were unbearable, especially with my elderly parents relying on me to ensure a smooth trip. **Final Warning:** Avoid this hotel at all costs. Their behavior is deceptive, unprofessional, and downright disrespectful. Do yourself a favor and book elsewhere, no matter how attractive this place may seem online. It’s not worth the trouble.

They will cancel your booking at the last moment and wont take your calls anymore . They will refund you the advance but wont take your calls no matter what . The staff behaviour is very bad and not at all polite . A very bad experience for me . never book this property

Very dirty and unhygienic area far from most important areas. Assi Ghat is 15 minutes by walk but the road is very smelly and dirty with lots of trash and animals. Most reviews here are fake.
