Sri Krishna Residency

ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE – DO NOT STAY HERE! Staying at Krishna Residency in Varanasi was hands-down the WORST decision of our trip. The place is not worth a single rupee. Here’s a detailed list of why no one should ever step foot in this so-called “residency”: 1. MOUSE INFESTATION: There was a mouse in our room. Yes, a MOUSE! We reported it to management, and they assured us they had resolved the issue. But it was all FAKE assurances. We saw the mouse again, proving they didn’t care to actually fix the problem. 2. MOSQUITO NIGHTMARE: The room was infested with mosquitoes. I woke up several times covered in bites. The management made no effort to address this. 3. IGNORING BASIC REQUESTS: We requested that our room be freshened up from night to night, a basic expectation at any hotel. Not only did they ignore this, but they also claimed we never asked for it. Incompetent and dismissive staff. 4. DECEITFUL OWNER: The owner personally offered tea and water as a “courtesy.” Not ONCE was it mentioned that we’d be charged for it. Imagine our shock when the bill arrived at the end of our stay with these “extras” tacked on. For a place marketing itself as a family business, this was in extremely poor taste. Clearly, the owner is greedy and only in it for the money. 5. NO BODY SOAP: Not even the most basic amenities like body soap in the shower were provided. 6. DISGUSTING STREET LEADING TO THE HOTEL: The path leading to the door of the hotel was littered with cow dung. How can anyone feel welcome or clean in such an environment? Krishna Residency is an absolute disaster. Save your money, your health, and your sanity, and book literally ANYWHERE else. This place is a disgrace to hospitality. AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Absolutely ruined our vacation.
