Sahi River View Guest House

We had an excellent 4 night stay in this guesthouse! The best parts are the location and the kind help of the staff. There is always someone in reception and they are glad to help with everything. The room we took was pretty standard. The hotel has a nice terrace and serves food and drinks.

I loved this place, the lovely helpful staff, the view from the big balcony (the Ganga !!!) with the large bed and comfy and the huge bathroom. The old style house, and the savoury breakfast. Nothing was wrong. Including the price ! And very very close to Assi Ghat where so many amazing things happen

The main USP of this hotel is location and Its best when it comes to Value for Money .Its just in front of Assi Ghat . This hotel has a very old charm which I liked very much . Many rooms have balconies from where one can enjoy Arati and good view of Ma Ganga.. Dont expect any room service as its a very budget hotel .Food was good , if ask in time they will prepare diner lunch breakfast . Rooms are clean newly renovated with false ceilling and all . But i think bed sheets should have been better same goes for towels. Also they dont provide any dental kits and all , so traveller will have to buy those by themselves. As i mentioned it is a good value for money stay in a fantastic location with old days charm.

Excellent location Cleanliness above expectations Spacious room with balcony and proper AC Very polite & helpful manager Jitendra ji. Budget friendly. Morning Arati of Assi Ghat can be witnessed from terrace garden. Location, space &. Budget is a rare combination in Varanasi. This was luckily turned out to be an exception for me.

Jitendra the manager is the best ! Helpful kind and knowledgeable. The onsite cook is brilliant, her kitchen is spotless and the home made yogurt is delicious. Between them they made my six week stay more than just comfortable. I felt safe and cared for whilst being right on the Ganga and able to walk into the heart of Assi Ghat and return to the peaceful front veranda of the Sahi River Guest House. The building once belonged to the King of a nearby principality, take a good look around for the quirky architecture and additions or modifications over the many years. This one is a gem.

Ir is located at Assi Ghat, but due to rainy season the river water was flowing back in front of this property. Otherwise the location is great.

The place is very close to the Kashi Vishwanath temple. You can easily find all the attractions nearby. The rooms are good. I stayed with my family. Service is also good, they respond immediately over a call.

A beautiful and neat guesthouse by the River Ganga with spacious sitouts on each floor with river views. The guesthouse overlooks the ghat area for the very scenic evening aarti, that attracts people in droves. The food is delicious and homemade, the service is unobtrusive. Great value for money.
