I recently stayed at Avyanna Homestays and had a truly delightful experience. The owner is incredibly warm and greeter — from the moment I arrived, I felt more like a guest than a customer. The room was spotless, very well-maintained, and comfortable (exactly what you need after a long journey). Every detail — from fresh linens to the neat décor — showed they take great pride in their hospitality. The service was excellent: prompt, friendly, and very thoughtful. Whether I needed directions, suggestions for meals, or anything else, the owner was always ready to help with a smile. From the moment I arrived, I knew I had chosen the perfect homestay. The room was clean, with thoughtful touches that made it feel like home. What truly stood out was the host—responsive and genuinely helpful, always just a message away to ensure everything went smoothly. The crown jewel, though, was the terrace garden. It's beautifully maintained and felt like a private oasis—lush, peaceful, and perfect for morning tea or evening relaxation. This homestay is the ideal blend of comfort and charm. Would definitely stay again and recommend to anyone looking for a serene escape and near to the airport. The only minor downside was that the room is on the third floor of a walk-up building, which might be a consideration for those with heavy luggage or mobility issues. However, host also has rooms on the ground floor.

We had a fantastic 5-day stay at Avyanna Homestays in Guwahati (Room 205 - Mista). As someone who has stayed in many hotels across India and is obsessed with cleanliness, I always have concerns about hygiene. However, this was only the second homestay that truly met my high standards. We booked through Airbnb, and the experience exceeded our expectations. The room was cosy and well-maintained, with a small kitchen that’s perfect for longer stays. It came with all the necessary utensils, just as I expected from every Airbnb. (What’s in their list, is there, Etc.) The location is also a big plus...it's conveniently near the airport, making travel hassle-free. On top of that, the host was incredibly responsive and helpful, ensuring a smooth and comfortable stay. If you're looking for a clean, comfortable, and well-equipped place to stay in Guwahati, I highly recommend Avyanna Homestays. Would definitely book again!

Such a charming homestay with a wonderful terrace garden! Lush greenery that's so calming and perfect for unwinding. This home stay's rooms are well arranged Bedroom, Bathroom and Kitchen. There you can spend quality time with your loved one and family. Also like to mention the owner and caretaker are very good and humble. I would highly recommend this homestay for everyone (10/10)

Extremely Disappointing Stay – Strongly Not Recommended This was by far the worst stay I’ve experienced. The owner and staff were polite during check-in but became very rude during checkout. They didn’t help us with our luggage and kept saying “Apka time ho gaya hai,” while the owner shut the door and said “Mujhe mat bolo.” We were a family of 11, including 6 elderly people, and had to carry all our luggage from the 3rd floor ourselves. Such terrible behavior and no basic hospitality at all. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
