Bhowmik's Bungalow

It's a 150 yrs old bunglow very well maintained with beautiful interiors...Stayed there for 1 night with my inlaws. We had a great time.good food and great hospitality...It felt like home away from home...

The overall experience was Okay just because we expected much, The place was pretty good, It is an old bungalow which is redesigned as the place to host the people.It consisting of two types of rooms one is standard and other is suite unlike other home stays they don't allow you to cook or leave the home for you.The owner will stay with you in different room located there and they serve the food at some cost if you order or else you will get it there in nearby restaurants or through swiggy or Zomato too . When we visited for the last time there were foreigners staying there so it often hosts foreigners.The breakfast served was complementary with a cup of tea ☕.

An oasis in the old part of Tezpur, nicely kept house and garden. My room was on the small side, and he seems to have some room adjacent to the garden, but not for the price I paid. I had to leave early the next day and owner was flexible to prepare breakfast at that time. Already booked another stay there.

On the way to Tawang spent 2 nights at Bhowmik's Bunglow, Tezpur on 2nd & 10th April' 22 .It was a wonderful experience. The hospitality provided to us by the host couple Sri A. Bhowmik and his wife Smt. Reena Bora Bhowmik was really nice and unforgettable. Spacious & elegantly decorated rooms with all the modern amenities, beautiful lawn and nice homely food. Really a home away from home. Recommended to everyone who visits Tezpur.

The accommodation was decent. It is a homestay and maintenance was not adequate. It was spacious but lack the refinement of a hotel. The owner was a very troublesome old gentleman who barges in without notice. Privacy is poor.

The homestay located at Tejpur town is moderate to stay for a couple of days stay. The entrance lawn is beautifully decorated with flowers and varities species of orchid. The rooms are just comfortable but has no cable TV connection, no internet connection. Also meals are not always available. The property is run by Mr Bhaumik & his wife with only four rooms available at present.

Great place to stay. Recommend it. The owners are very hospitable. It's a 120+ year old home, which is very nicely maintained with all the amenities (power, water etc). Beautiful Gazebo and outdoor sitting areas to enjoy your meals.
