Japotra Homestay

It's a homely home stay. All the 10 rooms have a comfortable bed, attached bathroom and a common gallery. The owner is courteous. Food served is basic but tasty. Best part is the location. Come out of your room and you are greeted with ever changing hues of Himalayas and the flowing stream of water.. Absolutely mesmerizing views of the three sides.

It was amazing stay.. Mr Rajender the owner was very friendly. It felt like friend home. The room was great. He even offered Mangoes from his own farm. It was great experience 😃

It was not so comfortable stay for me on the month of October, it seems all the bharmore got closed out after the manimahesh, after manimahesh yatra, please only consider govt. Stays like PWD or HPTDC, don't go for private and book after manimahesh, prices will slash by half in all stay of bharmore, including Japotra. There were no in-house food available, only they have kitchen without any utencils, that they will arrange on demand, kitchen is damp. Rooms are not so comfy, as the cold chill get entered from all sort of places, no heater, no hot bag, even you can't purchase in local market, they are not available. Anyway somehow we spent our time in bharmore. Only thing they provide ample quilt/kambals to keep you wamr and there is a off-shop nearby if u have to Keep u warm. We faced lot of issue with food and it is not available in market, but the nearby restaurant is kind enough to provide us brkfast and lunch we do to HPTDC HOTEL , will serve food year round and far away from Japotra. So, I will not suggest anyone this guest house as the owner doesn't even stay in winter it seems and won't bother how we will manage the stay although he was sorry for the hurdles we face but it seems somewhere detached. They will help you uphill climb with your luggage but you can feel the exhaustion and detachment from them and it is a uphill climb of 60 - 70 meter thay will be difficult for elderly and kids. So, if you are bachelor stay here, do bargain but if u are couple or travelling with family with kids and elderly, dnt stay not worth it. There is not much view, best view if from gowrikund helipad.

Clean rooms with clean bathrooms. Food or room service is unavailable. However there are places to eat nearby. Location gives a great uninterrupted view of the mountains. The staff is friendly.

Low to mid range travelers hotel, great views from most of the rooms. Various rooms, shared or ensuite bathroom(no showers, only hot bucket), the owner, Raj is very nice and helpful. Some food is available on demand.

Everything is too good.. Food.. Hospitality.. Cleanness, room was spacious.. Owner and his wife so humble.
