Avika home stay

If you’re visiting Chhitkul, this is your go-to stay. My travel agent recommended this and I wasn’t sure if it was even fit for consideration but God was I wrong! Their service, hospitality, cleanliness, food and friendly nature of the caretaker is just what takes your heart away! I loved every bit of my stay here and I’m already planning my next trip just to Chhitkul so I can experience all of this all over again!

Very cozy homestay at the heart of Chitkul. The owner Ajay Bhaiya Ji takes care of everything alone and won't leave a space for you to complain. He is so much humble and friendly. The food was very delicious and homely cooked by him and the place where we had dinner and breakfast was also unique. Overall if you visit Chitkul consider visting here.

We are unfortunate enough as whole day there was no electricity. Though it's beyond control of home stay authority but they could provide battery operated emergency lamp at least. Instead they provided small candle at around 8 pm. Food menu have very limited choices and there was only ONE person taking care of all issues. But for small items which are usually provided before check in was missing over there and we have to asked for each item. Entrance is very narrow.They don't have parking space and you need to park your car on road side. This facility seriously need improvement.

Had a wonderful experience staying in this homestay...nice hospitality wonderful food..and I must say our caretaker mr.ajay Negi took care of us nicely.... overall I recommend for family as well as group of friends can comfortably book this stay and enjoy

The rooms are beautiful, cozy and warm. Avika homestay is at the center point of the village Chitkul. The best part of the homestay is the manager Mr. Ajay Negi. He is really polite, helpful and humble man. And the food he makes is delicious. Simply the best food we have tasted on our entire Spiti ride. Do visit here, you will be amazed.

Staying here is one of the most beautiful and tranquil experiences of my life. Rooms and bathrooms are super clean with all amenities. Host Ajay, he is an amazing person really hard to find in this fake world, he cooks delicious food and also takes care of every single thing of his guests. Just go for Avika homestay, without any second thought.
