Dingle House

Awesome experience. The caretaker of the homestay is so welcoming, feels like you are at your home. The food they prepared was so delicious. The stay was cosy. They provide all possible things you ask for. Overall stay was so amazing that my family feels like going back.

It's a beautiful, calm place away from the hustle and bustle of the city and still very near to the main town, you can walk to most of the Dalhousie market. Cosy rooms and helpful caretakers. The food is awesome.

If you are travelling with a group of 5-6 people, then booking the home stay is convenient. Otherwise, you'll end up feeling bad on your decision. We were 2 and booking this home stay turned out to be a disappointment. There were two large spacious bedrooms, one washroom If I talk about essential available in the home stay, there were nothing. Soaps and towels were not available. We had to call the caretaker for other essential things. Overall, paying around 6600 for two nights was too much for us. If you are travelling with your spouse, or in a group of 2-4 then taking this place isn't appropriate. Although, behaviour of the care taker present there was good, and assisted well for the things, we asked for. Food does not taste good here. Better to go outside n eat. Sher de hotel near by is really good in terms of taste

The stay is just 1 km away from the bus stand. It is situated in the residential area, therefore, has peaceful surroundings. It has wide front porch, one can see the hills and clouds easily. The property is from the colonial times but well maintained. Rooms are also quite big and spacious, very good for groups. Lady who takes care of the property is very cheerful and helpful. The ventilation and lighting in one of the rooms that we stayed in could be better though.

Dingle House is a cosy space, where you can spend your time in peace and comfort. There is has an old-world charm to the place and the house staff are warm and very courteous. You can walk to many of the places from here like Subash Chowk, Gandhi Chowk and St. Francis Church. Also, Sunset point is a couple minutes away and is really worth seeing. And the dogs here are quite friendly and always ready to play :)

We were 3 couples visited Dalhousie and stayed for a day in dingle house. ||This place is nearer to the civil hospital and near to bus stand. ||Basically,we booked 3 rooms in bunglow. Rooms are attach with toilet and bathrooms. Rooms are quiet huge, neat & equipped with heaters. Service was also good. Food quality is also good. Space outside the villa is also huge and one can sit and enjoy Surrounding. ||Overall, place is pleasant for stay with family.

We were 7 people and stayed for 3 nights. I must say, it was really a great experience staying at Dingle House. It was pretty clean and well organised. Care take Manish and guddi were very cooperative and they really helped us in making our stay memorable. The food was tasty. One thing I would like to highlight that washrooms are clean, might be earlier someone had faced the issue but now there is no such issue with that. It was a lovely stay and would definitely recommend.

A big thank you to Dingle House for making our stay at Dalhousie a memorable one....the comfort and courteous behavior of everyone was so overwhelming...the friendly nature of hosts was heart warming! Manish bhaiya and his wife made our stay super comfortable...Nishu your tea was excellent...All in all a highly recommended stay with home like feel! A great experience....
