If you're looking for a cute and cozy homestay away from the bustling and crowded market place of Mcleodganj but not more than walking distance from the main market then look no further than Mustard House. Extremely chilled out host in Nupur who is an absolute sweetheart. Their staff is beyond courteous and always go around with a smile on their face(maybe it is the environs of Dharamkot). Food is homely and perfect if you plan to stay put for a while and the rooms are quite cozy. The only sound that you will hear all through is of the water going down the stream and occasional chirping of birds. Lovely experience and I can't wait to go back there!

We had a great experience at Mustard House. We were looking for a place close to the main attractions but not right in the middle of the hustle - and this was exactly it. The staff were exceptionally kind and welcoming, always looking for ways to make our stay better. They even went out of their way to assist us after we had already checked out. The rooms are comfortable and nicely designed. We recommend this place to anyone looking for a pleasant stay in India- within walking distance of the tourist areas, yet set in a calm neighborhood.

My stay in Mustard House was truly fabulous! Our marvellous Host Nupur , her amazing staff Arun. Ankita n Raju made my almost 2 week stay feel I was in my Home . Food was too delicious. In short I would say my stay in Mustard House was MAGICAL 💕

Absolutely breathtaking mustard house is right in the heart of dharamkot surrounded by sacred and divine trees and lush greenery it is a serene retreat that exceeded all expectations! The stunning views, cozy ambiance, and warm hospitality made our stay truly unforgettable. The food there was comforting and delicious. Highly recommend for anyone seeking a peaceful mountain getaway. The aura of the place was incredibly healing and positive. The owner nupur is a total sweetheart felt like family with her. Thanks for sharing your slice of heaven with us, we would love to come again. ❤️

So so touched by the love and care put into this place. Nupur Ji, the owner, is such a sweet, friendly, accommodating person. When I arrived late at night, she welcomed me so kindly, offered me food, and made sure I found the place safely. The place is very clean, so well thought out, has things for you to use (toast station, filtered water, umbrellas, flashlights, etc) if you need during your stay. Couldn’t have asked for a better host. Additionally, I had a little issue with some allergies when I arrived in the room (very clean room!!) and she went above and beyond in her response to make sure I was comfortable. They cleaned the room again, wiped the walls, removed anything that might have been causing the allergy. Nobody does this! This was so kind of her and the staff (Arun, Ankita). I am very touched and would recommend this place to anyone and everyone coming by, if they’d like a personal experience that will remain in their memories for a long time!! Also the paratha was delicious! And the view on the terrace is spectacular!! I stayed for Iyengar Yoga practice.

I have stayed at both the properties of Mustard HomeStay (TotaRani & Dharamkot) for a week. The experience has been wonderful starting from amazing food, outstanding services, warm hospitality by the staff, comfortable rooms that account for a pleasant stay to the serene mesmerizing views that bring peace & solitude along with bohemian vibes that make common areas vibrant & lively! To top it all, Nupur is simply a wonderful being exuding love, kindness, compassion and good vibes only! Glad to be blessed with a home & beautiful connections away-from home! :)

We stayed at The Mustard Home-A Travellers Homestay in April 2025. It is a homestay in the true sense as you are looked after as you are at home. The host Nupur is excellent, warm and invested in all who come to stay at her place. She guides you at every step whether it is suggesting places to explore, cafes around the place etc. She has amazing staff Arun and Ankita who leave no stone unturned to make you comfortable. The food provided is another feature that needs a special mention. The food is so good that you actually experience the love and attention that has gone into the preparation! Like a mother, an elder sister Nupur looks after her guests and you feel like you have made a connection for life!

I along with my wife, had the pleasure to stay at this property in Dharamkot. This property is located in a quaint area in lower dharamkot surrounded by lush green mountains ,cafes ,yoga center's and can be said as the focal point of all activities. My stay was for 3N 4D, and i had spent a lovely time at this place.|Our kind hostess ,'Nupur' made sure that we enjoyed our stay and took care of all our requirements. She personally guided us to plan well, and connected with people that really helped us in our adventures. The food prepared by the inhouse chef was certainly praiseworthy and hygiene was well in place for each meal that was served. Finally ,who can forget the lounge area where we met with fellow travelers/seekers and tried to know each other with endless discussions.||For the audience, now, This is not just a homestay or regular hotel room that you book from a travel website.
