Mustard House truly puts the "home" in homestay. The experience was so delightful – not to mention the delicious meals cooked with love – that I stayed there twice and I will return for a longer visit during my next trip to India. The hostess and the staff are beautiful souls. The rooms are comfortable and nicely appointed. The location is peaceful and central to both Dharamkot and Bhagsu. Lastly, while at Mustard House, be sure to try the mouthwatering Mustard Women achaar!

Amazing location, in close proximity to Dharmkot and Mcleodganj. Nupur is a great host, treats you really well and provides great local recommendations. She ensures you feel like home away from home. Raju, Ankita and Arun on the ground provide good service, are very approachable, they are always there whatever your need be . Overall it’s a value for money experience.

My stay at Mustard Homestay in Dharamkot was nothing short of magical. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with warmth and hospitality that made me feel right at home. The serene surroundings and cozy atmosphere provided the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. A special mention goes out to the gorgeous Nupur and team for making my birthday celebration so memorable. Their thoughtful gestures and attention to detail truly touched my heart. Cradled by deodar trees, this homestay feels like a cozy poem of peace and warmth. Our short stay was filled with incredible food, a kind-hearted staff, and a super host who made every moment special. The gentle calm of the forest, combined with the comfort of each corner, left us wishing we could linger longer—especially my 8-year-old, who didn’t want to come back! It’s a serene haven where the world fades away, and we can’t wait to return for more time in its welcoming embrace.

This is economical and clean rooms. I got it at 1300/per night on last week of Dec. Little outskirts and difficult to reach location by car in upper Bhagsu. you will need scooty/car to go to mcleodganj or Dharmashala as it's quite far. Rooms are clean, first 2 days geyser was not working so they hot water in 2 buckets. Rooms are quite cold if u are going in dec-Jan, not insulated like wooden houses but heaters are provided at 200/day. special mention to Manager Tarun who was very attentive.

Mustard House is a blissful place with amazing view. Food is also delicious made with love. Rooms are beautifully organized. Management and service is awesome. Owner and staff members are genuinely great they really take care of their guest and are available whenever needs.

What a delightful experience staying at Mustard house Traveller's homestay at TOTA RANI. The place is spiritually so high in vibrations that it just suddenly makes you feel so welcomed. The scenic beauty is to live for!! 🥰 Can not emphasise on the hospitality enough. The people who took care of us, Arun, Vijay bhaiya, Raju bhaiya were incredibly sweet and warm. It literally felt at home. Never have been to a homestay as beautiful and cosy as Mustard house, Tota Rani. If you really want to go away from the hustble bustle of the metro city life and just find your own self and just be with your own self, THIS IS DEFINITELY THE PLACE TO BE.
