Naddi Castle

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Naddi castle , and I can't recommend it highly enough! Kartik sir was incredibly welcoming and attentive, making us feel right at home. My room was spotless and beautifully decorated, providing a cozy retreat with stunning views. The dining experience was a true highlight. I particularly loved the breakfast and dinner buffet . For breakfast there was a great variety of fresh options, and the coffee was outstanding—definitely one of the best I've had! Located conveniently near major attractions, Naddi castle made it easy to explore the area. Overall, my experience was exceptional, and I can't wait to return!

This was my very first experience of a homestay & believe me it was the best one. The host is a very decent guy & helps in every possible way he can if in need. The place is situated at a perfect spot, starting the day with the beautiful dhauladhar mountain ranges and ending up with a peaceful sunset. The calmness there has a voice which feels like it is embracing your presence there. Climbing up 75 steps is nothing in front of the soothing serenity that awaits you. I still regret that i booked the property for just one night 🥲. Shivam is so calm and composed as the place is, with a smile on his face anytime. My parents and i were so tired due to travelling but were refreshed as we woke up to such a breathtaking view. If you're looking out/planning to book this property, believe me don't give it a second thought and go for it.

"We had the most amazing stay at Naddi Castle’s mountain cabin! The setting was absolutely breathtaking-surrounded by towering trees and stunning views of the mountains. The cabin itself was cozy, beautifully decorated, and had all the amenities we needed for a relaxing stay. The kitchen was fully stocked, the beds were super comfortable, and the fireplace made the evenings extra special. What really made this trip memorable, though, was Anil and Kartik (co host). They were incredibly welcoming and attentive, offering great local recommendations and making sure we had everything we needed without being intrusive. We especially appreciated the thoughtful touches like Co host is making sure that there guest are not leaving outsid without having food and although provided some snacks and fruits (free) for our car trip. The location was perfect for hiking and exploring, yet still peaceful and private. We felt completely rejuvenated after our stay and would absolutely return. Highly recommend this hidden gem if you're looking for a serene escape in the mountains!"

I had a wonderful time at Naddi castle. Kartik and family were very helpful and sometimes went out of the way to help me. I was traveling solo for the first time, they made me feel welcome and safe. They are easily approachable and always answer all the queries no matter how small. View is amazing. There are not many food restaurants at walkable distance, but food delivery from restaurants is an option. Another option is having food from the family, which I did and enjoyed the home cooked meals. I would recommend it!!

Excellent and awesome place to stay in McLeod Ganj. From all the places we have visited in the last couple of years. This is the truly one of the best. My kids just loved the place and they want to come back here for their next vacation. Shivam and Kartik are just great to be around. They help will anything and everything you want help him. I can keep writing, but this is truly and amazing place to stay and enjoy nature and relax during your vacation.

A beautiful property amidst nature. You will get a perfect view of Dauladhar range here. Rooms are basic and comfortable. Care taker Kartik is very supportive and is always willing to guide as needed. You definitely need to climb a flight of stairs to reach the property but trust me it would all be worth it. The only drawback (which the location of the property would overcome) there is no restaurant facility. You would need to go a minimum of 700-900 m to have your meals. There are some restaurants that would do room delivery though. All in all an amazing property and highly recommended for those who would appreciate to be away from the crowd.

This felt like a couples getaway that was perfectly nestled in the mountains but still very close to McLeod Ganj. It would be a long walk into the city but they helped us arrange a quick and inexpensive taxi ride. The hotel was easy access to the Triund Trail if you are wanting to do that hike. The room itself was incredibly spacious with a sink, plenty of hot water, and gorgeous views. There was a space heater that kept us comfortable, but if it's very cold weather, be prepared with extra layers. If you are travelling with someone you are not close with, the walls of the bathroom are thin, but for us it wasn't a big deal. The host/owner, Karti, was a soft spoken kind soul and very accommodating.

Book in advance. The only drawback here is that there is no in-house food service, you will get only basic things like maggie, tea, etc.. For proper food one has to go get it from the market which is quiet a distance. There is one nearby restaurant, but food is not good at all, so avoid ordering from there..
