Rooms are small,not suitable for family. Perfect for two persons only. Parking is located at PWD rest house. Images at Google are deceptive. Although lawn is accessible for all but I need to enter from outside. Also homestay rooms are not infront of the lawns but they have separately built rooms at first floor which is separated from main house. Washroom are small, toilet seat is wrongly fitted. One cannot sit properly. Recommended only for two or solo travel. Food at homestay is delicious but I found price to be in higher side

I was here with my friend for 5 days in the beginning of June. The love, respect and admiration for little things that we received is something that i will keep remembering. I will miss the people here, their warmest hospitality and tastiest food. They will take you in as thier family and will treat you as their very own. See you again! If you are at Kalpa, stay here. Large rooms with snow-clad mountain view and a large lawn to sit, chat and stare at the beauty.

This is one extraordinary place to stay in Kalpa. They have a huge house & an even larger front garden facing Kinnaur Kailash. You can just sit there & do nothing. Amazing view. Even better is the owners. They went over & beyond with their hospitality. They made us local food which I would have never gotten a chance in my life before. Most humble people ever. They have a cat, husky & German shepherds. If you are in Kalpa, do not think about staying anywhere else.

You will get serene view of Kinnar kailash right from the window of the property. Owner of the property is very humble and helpful. I had one night stay here while going for Yulla kanda trek. After completing the trek we got little late to reach Recong peo (10:30 pm) and every restaurant was closed. I just made a call to the owner of the property who was about to sleep but she not just asked us to come and have a peaceful stay but cooked for us.- It was a gesture that you can expect only at home.
