Phunchok Homestay

I stayed 6 nights with sonam. He is a very friendly, caring and generous host. He made delicious food for me, and also some very nice tea. The homestay is very comfortable and welcoming and not too pricey, the location is very good, right next to the main market.

Staying with Sonam and his beautiful family was a great experience. They are very generous hosts providing local food and cultural insight. The rooms are comfortable with modern amenities and views of mountains and the surrounding farmland. The location is quiet and peaceful only a short walk from the main market.

Such a pleasure to stay at phunchok Homestay and be warmly welcomed by Sonam and his beautiful family. The level of hospitality was simply unmatched, especially since this homestay has only just recently opened its doors! Rooms were beautiful and clean, hot showers and nice toilet in shared bathroom. Sonam made us lots of lovely seabuckthorn tea, masala chai and butter tea. We stayed for two nights and dinners and breakfasts were delicious. A mix of both Indian and Spitian dishes. Would thoroughly recommend this homestay to anyone staying in kaza

I recently stayed at a homestay in Kaza, and it was an absolutely delightful experience. The rooms were clean, spacious, and cozy, providing a perfect retreat after exploring the breathtaking Spiti Valley. The property is environment-friendly, which added to its charm—everything from waste management to the use of sustainable materials was commendable. The food was a highlight of our stay. Every meal was freshly prepared, delicious, and reflective of the local flavors, giving us a taste of the region's rich culinary heritage. I especially loved their local preparation thenthuk. The hosts were warm and hospitable, making us feel like part of their family. The homestay’s serene ambiance and stunning views of the surrounding mountains made our stay unforgettable. If you’re visiting Kaza, I highly recommend this place for a comfortable, eco-conscious, and memorable experience!
