In first place I was not sure how the rooms going to be but I must say they have all room sizes, cleanliness is top notch and interior, facilities all are great. Uncle ji, owner, has been very helpful in case we needed anything. Co-ordinator bhai, who takes care of booking and all, is very humble and soft spoken. Go for this place if you need q quiet, home like environment just at a distance of 1 km. I had a two days stay here and will surely book if visit Manali in future.

I quite like spending my time at peace so the thakur niwas homestay is a kind of that stay where you can stay like home. Although the food was okay-okay, but the nature of those people they are really helpful and good people.

The property is very good peaceful vibe and it's not like hotel vibe it's friendly homestay beautiful mountain view and clean room.the owner behaviour is very nice so polite .thank you for good hospitality.

Stayed for 3 days ...and the place is so beautiful,balcony has a great view of manali town as well as snow covered mountains. Rooms are very cozy ,clean and spacious. Owner is very decent and cordial.they provide meals services which feels like home food....#worthful stay at thakur nivas. One who is looking for budget friendly stay with good vibes can go for this place..# thakur nivas

The review posted before seem to artificial. I wish to write my experience which may be used by other travelers. This Homestay is on steep height and have to track as if tracking on Himalayas. Very difficult to reach the property when you are tired after days activities. Also the owner is so energy savvy that he will never switch on the light which may help in dark street. Surprised when the owner asked extra money for the room heater when it is necessary requirement in that place. My Tv was not working for two days . The Owner will switch off the hot water supply when some one has to use it. No option other than having the food made by property owner (because the hotels are far away) which is of very low quality and much costly than market. Try to book some room which is on main road and nearby market.

The Host is a very warm, welcoming and gentle person. He made our stay even more pleasant. The view from the homestay was beautiful. It's very peaceful out there. It's bit on the height but that's manageable too. We totally loved our stay there and would highly recommend this place for families. Amenities provided - Balcony with a view, TV, Hot Water, WiFi, Towel, Blanket, Quilt and an extra mattress (which was On Demand)

Owner Vipul is nice person and his father is punctual is providing food we asked. He provided us room, scooty and even brought us to sissu , kullu, paragliding and river rafting. He arranged everything he helped us to explore manali. Greatly recommended him.
