We couldn’t have wished for a better place to stay! We immediately felt at home when we arrived at Mountain Child’s Stay, with its comfortable rooms, amazing views, and delicious meals. Kavita, Raj and Jaggu are super attentive to all of your needs, making it so easy and nice to enjoy the peacefulness and nature around you. As we wanted to hike in the region, the team further organised everything to accompany us on a multiple days trek in a fun and sustainable way. We had an amazing time with Raj on the Hampta Pass, who planned everything so well and guided us on the trail so that we could enjoy it as much as possible far from the crowds. The camping equipment was really qualitative and we thoroughly enjoyed the sustainable approach of the team, with fresh meals being cooked every day at camp without leaving any waste behind. We wish the other trek agencies could follow this path too. A little surprise was even planned for us when we reached the pass after two days of hiking, making the experience even more memorable. We don’t have enough words to describe how amazing everything was. Thank you again!

Staying at the Mountain child stay was one of our best experiences in India. We were looking for a quiet place to rest and it was so peaceful. The view was breathtaking and the food incredible. One of the best places in Himachal Pradesh that we have visited so far, whether it is just to relax or to work remotely. Loved our hosts Kavita & Buddy 🐶🐾 Scenic view filled with good amount of wildlife around us! Apart from countless varieties of birds, if you are lucky you would even spot some Himalayan Golden Mongoose from the stay itself. Loved the food 🤤 missing it already! The stay was worth it 🫶🏾 We were there for a week but will be visiting soon for a longer stay.

Very quiet and peaceful place to be. A perfect escape from the bustle. Beautiful view and healthy yummy food. Warm water and tea with scenic views. They offer a friendly visit to one of the villagers' home where you get to enjoy homemade local dish. If interested , you can join them on hikes, yoga sessions, etc. I very much enjoyed the stay.

There’s so much to say about the beauty of this place. First of all the view is incredible, in the mountains looking at the moutains. I was doing my online job whilst I was there and it was the most ideal place to do it. Kavita is a beautiful person inside and out, she cares so much about the project and guests. I felt so welcomed, appreciated and heard. Kavita really goes above and beyond to make sure you have the stay you wish for. I couldn’t recommend this place enough and I know I’ll be back.
