From room you can view the mountains and at night you can see the lights from Old Manali making a view worth watching.

The rooms are tastefully decorated, with cozy furnishings and modern amenities.|One of the highlights of our stay was the exceptional cooking of the hotel's caretaker, Aunty. Her culinary skills are nothing short of extraordinary. it was the traditional Himachali specialties she prepared that were a masterpiece. Her passion for cooking was evident in the love and care she put into each meal.

It was a lovely experience. The view of the scenery straight from the bedroom is marvellous. The host is quick to respond and gracious. The rooms are clean and cozy. I'd visit again next year 🙂

Cottage and Cheese is a true find! I stayed for a month, and Kriti, the owner, is wonderfully friendly and always there to help. Champa Aunty’s kindness and her delicious home-cooked meals made my time unforgettable. The views are stunning, and the cozy vibe feels like home. If you’re into trekking, this place is perfect—Kanyal Circuit and Lammadugh are just minutes away, plus the walk through the apple orchard to the house is gorgeous. I’ll definitely be back! Highly recommend!

What a location ❤️❤️❤️. I was just there after my marriage with my betterhalf, super experience of Mother Nature with lovely Mountain View’s which we people miss out in metropolitan areas. Our stay at The Cottage & Cheese,Manali is a lifetime memory which we gonna cherish always.I would suggest to one & all those want to escape from the toxicity of urban areas & get refreshment in natures lap it’s the best place vouch on. Will visit again soonest 🧿🙌❤️🙂. The Host is wonderful ❤️.All the caretakers there are just like family, you can reach out to them at any point of time in the day & night.They are ready to help you out in best possible way.🙏🏻🙂❤️

Breathtaking views, cute cottages, good home food. It was picturesque, serene, relaxing. Everything I was looking for :) I was lucky that the host Kriti was on a baking spree the week I was staying there and I was in for a real treat. I still dream about her walnut banana bread and brownies.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Cottage and Cheese in Manali, and I can’t say enough about the wonderful experience. From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the serene location, far removed from the hustle and bustle of city life. The cottage itself is charming and cozy, perfectly blending rustic charm with modern comforts. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and attentive, making sure every detail of my stay was perfect. I felt right at home from the moment I walked in. They are such warm people❤️ Champa aunty is such a darling person who will never let u feel any discomfort. One of the highlights was waking up to the breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and enjoying the fresh, crisp air. The tranquility of the location made it the perfect place to relax and unwind. A special mention must go to the delicious meals that featured a delightful variety of local food. It was a treat to experience local food prepared with so much attention to even get it modified as per our taste and requirements. Thank you Kriti for creating such a beautiful and peaceful retreat. I highly recommend The Cottage and Cheese to anyone looking for a serene getaway in Manali. I will definitely be returning!❤️🤩

I have been to this homestay both the times I've been to Manali. Best homestay if you want the real feel of village life in the mountains. Champa aunty has the best siddu, momos and hospitality! Will visit again.
