A Truly Memorable Stay at Mighty Manali – Highly Recommended! This is going to be a long post, but I want to share our detailed experience during our stay at Mighty Manali. When our group of friends planned a trip to Manali, our biggest challenge was finding accommodation that offered breathtaking views at an affordable price. After going through countless options, we came across this property. Initially, we were a bit skeptical due to the limited number of reviews on Google Maps. However, our opinion completely changed after experiencing this stay firsthand! First Impressions & Hospitality Before booking, we decided to call the owner, Chander Bhai, to check room availability. From the very first conversation, I had a strong feeling that this stay was going to be fantastic. His warmth and hospitality were evident even over the phone. Upon arriving in Manali, Chander Bhai personally came down to the main road to greet us and even arranged help to carry our luggage—a gesture that immediately made us feel welcomed. (A small note: the property is a 10-minute uphill trek from the main road, which adds to its charm but may be challenging for elderly travelers.) The Only Consideration – A 10-Minute Hike The only thing to keep in mind is the short 10-minute trek to reach the property. While this isn’t an issue for most travelers, those with elderly family members or small children might want to consider this factor. However, if you're a group of friends or adventure-loving families, this adds to the experience rather than being a drawback! The Stay – Absolutely Worth It! Once we reached the rooms, we were blown away by the views, the cleanliness, and the facilities. The rooms looked exactly as shown in the pictures and were well-equipped with a private kitchen and all the necessary utensils—a rare find! Unmatched Hospitality – Felt Like Home From the moment we settled in, Chander Bhai’s hospitality was beyond expectations. He welcomed us with tea and snacks, took time to interact with us, and planned all our daily activities, ensuring we had the best experience in Manali. What stood out the most was his genuine care for our well-being. He regularly checked in to make sure we were comfortable and even arranged medicines for some of our friends when they weren’t feeling well. He also shared home-cooked meals with us, even when we hadn’t requested food accommodation—a truly heartwarming gesture! Final Thoughts – A Must-Stay in Manali! There are countless small but meaningful gestures that made our stay here unforgettable—things that can’t be fully described in words. If you're looking for a peaceful, scenic, and homely stay in Manali, this is undoubtedly the best choice. We came as guests but left feeling like family. Highly recommended!

We had an amazing experience here! The place is located about a 10–12-minute uphill climb, but the effort is absolutely worth it for the stunning views it offers. The rooms are spotless and far superior to the ones near the overcrowded Mall Road. Most importantly, Chander Sen Bhaiya, the homestay owner, is truly a gem of a person. He welcomed us warmly, introduced us to his family, and even shared a meal with us. Also his cooking is incredible—if you're planning to stay here, don't miss out on trying his chicken dish, it’s absolutely amazing. The hospitality was exceptional overall!

A Home Away from Home - An Unforgettable Experience! We initially planned to stay at this homestay for just 2 days before heading to our next destination, but the charm of the place and the warmth of the host convinced us to extend our stay to 4 days. It was the best decision we made! The location of the homestay is nothing short of magical. Surrounded by lush green mountains, serene snow-covered peaks, and the freshest air we’ve ever breathed, it felt like stepping into a paradise. Waking up to such breathtaking views every day was an absolute treat. What truly made this experience extraordinary was the host. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with such warmth and hospitality that we instantly felt at home. The house owner went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable, offering helpful tips about the area and even sharing stories that made our evenings delightful. It didn’t feel like we were staying in a homestay but rather in the comfort of our own home. The house itself was cozy, well-maintained, and equipped with everything we needed. It was evident that a lot of care and thought had been put into making the guests’ stay as pleasant as possible. Pros: • Breathtaking location: Surrounded by mountains, greenery, and snow, with stunning views and fresh air. • Exceptional hospitality: The house owner was welcoming, helpful, and made us feel at home. • Comfortable stay: The homestay was cozy, clean, and well-equipped with all essentials. • Peaceful environment: Perfect for relaxing and unwinding away from city life. Cons: • None If you’re looking for a place that combines stunning views, tranquility, and heartfelt hospitality, this homestay is the perfect choice. We can’t wait to visit again and relive this beautiful experience! Highly recommended!

I stayed at Mighty Manali for one night on 13th September 2024 along with my wife. After our bus to Manali got delayed by 4 hours, Chander ji was very warm and welcoming and helped us get to the location. The location is a short hike from the beas bridge (10-15 mins). Chander ji and his family were so sweet and treated us like a part of their family. In the morning Chander ji helped us with the luggage as the hike felt difficult with luggage and bags. He showed us to the room and we spoke for sometime. In the afternoon Chander ji cooked us a delicious rajma chawal meal which we thoroughly enjoyed. After a tiring night of travel this is exactly what anyone would want. Later in the evening we asked for Maggie which we prepared at our room (there is a kitchen with everything necessary to cook). Then we played uno with Chander Ji's son and his brother's daughter. It was so much fun. For night dinner Didi cooked us a variety of dishes (chapati, brocolli sabji, rice, dal, patroda etc) patroda which is a local dish was simply amazing. We all had dinner together talking about the life in the mountains and many other topics. In the morning aunty (Chander Ji's mom) gave us a cucumber grown in their garden and uncle (Chander Ji's dad) gave us apples (grown at their farm). In the morning went for a small walk up from the property to explore the amazing apple plantations around the property. Chander ji again cooked us a quick and delicious breakfast as we were getting late. We did the final calculations of cost and Chander ji was generous enough to charge us a very nominal amount for all the things we made him do. After taking selfies with chander ji and his family and bidding them adieu we started our descent back towards beas bridge. We had just started walking and Chander ji came running to see us through till the bridge and helped us with our bags. I cannot thank enough for Chander Ji's amazing personality, helping nature and such an amazing human being overall. I wish him and his family great health and happiness. Our Manali trip was truly memorable because of our stay at Mighty Manali thanks to wonderful Chander ji. ♥️

We have stayed in Mighty Manali for 1 month, and I must say this is one of our best choice that we have taken for our mighty Himachal trip. I would break down my review in multiple categories so that would help you to know the pros and cons . Home Stay Location: The home stay is very close to the Manali mall road at a distance of around 350 meters but it’s not in plain road where you would be able to directly reach by car. Last 350 meters you have to hike / walk at its on a hill (kind of). This would take approximately 15- to 20 mins of walk / hike to reach the home stay. I have moderate health and hence it took me 9 to 13 mins while hiking up to the home stay. I have calculated my time multiple times and for me it doesn’t take more than 13 mins. And while coming down it takes 8 to 10 mins. Don’t worry about your luggage how those will be carried. The owner of the home stay Chander ji would connect with a porter to carry your luggages, you need to pay to the porter an amount of 200 to 400 Rs. based on the no of luggages. This amount you would pay to the porter directly. If you or your family had undergone any operation or had any issues with back - Please re consider before booking this homestay. But once you reach the home stay it might take your breath away. You would be speechless with the mesmerizing snow capped mountains. You can spend your time in the terrace to enjoy a cup of coffee or tea . This would relax your nerves. Home Stay Family : The owner of the home stay Chander Ji and his family stay in the same property and they would try their best to help you in all possible ways. Be it in terms of knowledge sharing about to best places that can be visited or by providing extra utensils or cab for sightseeing. Just talk with Chander ji and he would help you out. Home Stay Room: Each of the rooms of this home stay is top notch, King side bed where 3 adults can sleep without any issues. There is also a 3x4 sitting arrangement where one person can also sleep. The mattress is of very good quality not sure of the mattress brand, but it’s neither too soft nor hard. The room had wooden almirah for storage with inbuilt heap length mirror. The room had ceiling fan, though Manali had very good temperature. In most of the hotels in Shimla doesn’t provide any fan, though Shimla is much hotter than Manali. The room had 200 MBPS high speed internet, no one should face any issues while working. Bathroom: All the rooms of the home stay had attached bathrooms with top notch fittings - Tape, Shower , jet, western WC, Washbasin and Gyser. Both tape and wash basin had hot water and cold water. Both the connections are connected with Gyser. Kitchen: All the rooms of the home stay had attached or private kitchen, with covered storage for utensils. Kitchen is provided with sufficient utensils (sufficient for 4 people) , LPG cylinder and Gas Strove. So you can purchase your own groceries and cook food, No extra charges for using kitchen. Finally about the home stay Owner Chander - he is gem of a person, he is always available for his guests to help in any possible ways. He is a great travel guide cum driver. He had an Alto K10, and he can help you to plan your tour plans with him. He would definitely make your tour 10 *, and that you would definitely remember throughout your life. Below are few of the tours you can plan along with him in his Alto K10: 1. 2 day trip to Jispa, Darcha, Deepak Tal or Baralachala and night stay at Jispa camping, and next day return to Manali. 2. Day trip to Triloknath Shiva temple and Udaipur Mata temple and return to Manali. This route is just adventurous and you must include in your trip. 3. Day trip to Sethan/ Hampta Pass followed by Jana Waterfall and Nagaar. 4. If you like tracking and love nature then you must include Bijli Mahadev trek. You would require to hike up which would take 60 to 90 mins to hike up and 45 to 60 mins to hike down. Traveling with Chander ji would make your trip easy and memorable.

Clean rooms to stay in and good hospitality by the owners. The location takes a 10 minutes' uphill climb to reach. But if you are up for a small hike, the place is worth it. The owners were also kind enough to provide us food since we were tired to walk back to the town downhill.
