Dhames Home stay offers you a very comfortable and cozy stay. It's location is very unique with a mind-blowing picturesque of snow clad mountains and greenery. The homestay is at a very calm location. The owner is very humble and takes care of all needs of guests.

We stayed a whole month here and I have the admit, this is something else. (Nov'23) Best things first: 1. The house is located from a walkable distance from the main bus stand and yet is secluded to allow you to hear the nature around you in all glory! 2. My husband and I were Worka-Vacay-tioning from here and we found waking up to the absolutely overwhelming presence of the Kinnaur range so humbling and beautiful 3. The homestay is so beautifully and aesthetically done, and had little areas that still gave you a sense of separation , say from the bed or the dining, or a little work-corner cozying right next to the windows. I loved sitting at the windows in the morning and the view was incredibly breath-taking. The orchards around the house add to the awesomeness that this house already is! 4. The hosts were super helpful and immediately responsive to our needs. We had an issue with the internet and these were immediately taken care of. Uncleji and Auntyji (as we got to calling them were super helpful and helped us pick our groceries for the start, and showed us around the market area). We also discovered Namkeen Chai through them. The younger host and the person who was our POC, Akashiji was super-helpful to figure most things for our travel and he made sure we were taken care of for all of our needs. 5. We were able to get a cook here, (Roopanji! and ask for her, if you want to stay for a longer time). She was a great cook and we had homecooked meals for a reasonable cost and with a lot of affection :) 5. A walk down the little footpath next to the bus-stand takes you all the way to a lovely idyllic market that had us go gaga over great food (Check out Muskan for their thukpa, soup! Shubh for their momos), all the grocery shopping we wanted to do and a good exercise especially when you climb your way back again. This is a place I believe we d love to come back, and get a chance to relive the beauty that this homestay was for us Now for the things that were a tiny bit of a bother (But not because of the hosts or the their homestay) 1. We travelled during the month of Nov and it was cold! So it is good to be suited up to endure the cold (Even thought it wasnt ye the official start to the snowing season). 2. The travel to Reckong Peo can be uncertain. There was a landslide that caused us quite an inconvenience at Nathpa Dam region and we had to switch buses, etc. SO if you plan to travel here, try to pack light so you do not carry more than you need. 3. The walk back to the house, during the late evenings requires you to carry a torch, since it gets very dark and the path is a mudpath! make sure you also have comfortable shoes that support well. Ankle injuries and foot slips can easily happen here, if you arent careful. So all that being said! This is a long overdue REVIEW Pending! And this was one of the best decisions we made to stay here for a month! We definitely wished we could have stayed longer! But nevertheless, this was heaven for the time we were!

Decor and facilities of this Airbnb is really cool. Very nice stay. It's a bit off the route but host sent a guy to pick us up from the main road which made it very easy. Only issue was with food as in house catering was not available and outside food which we got was not good. However if you're a cooking enthusiast or have vehicle to explore market area by yourself this is great. Host was very nice and helpful.

We are foreigners traveling Himachal by bike and we were super happy to find this place. Beautiful, modern, comfortable, quiet, great views. Bathroom is amazing. We had an great time here, wish we had stayed longer, but had to continue on our trip. Akash and his family are some of the nicest, most helpful people around. Don’t hesitate to stay here.

We had a very comfortable stay at this place. Availability of food is a bit of challenge as you have to order from an outside restaurant. But, you have facility to cook for yourselves if you prefer. It's a nice place to relax and rejuvenate. You can spend your time among the apple orchard if you visit around September 😀

A perfect Airbnb, precisely describes it. Akash ji's place exudes what Airbnb was created for. Excellently priced, beautiful wooden rooms, clean kitchen and washrooms, all thoughtfully lighted and placed. Visiting Himachal since so many years, across so many districts, this was one of the perfect stays. Pictures doesn't do justice to the place, and it's more wonderful when you reach there. The snow clad peaks from the terrace, adds cherry to the cake. Uncle and aunty ji are extremely hospitable, and great to talk to if you need any help and otherwise. It's serenity redefined. Wish we could stay longer than we intended to. And shall surely return if visiting Kinnaur, Kalpa, Peo again. All the best to Akash for his ventures, will surely go far because his sense of lighting, placement, aesthetic, spactial architecture is on point!

The place is awesome..,The view from the property is breathtaking specially the kinner kailash mountain view, above all the great hospitality by Akash, Uncle ji and aunty ji make you feel like your own home, always ready to help you by all possible manner to make you stay as comfortable as home.

Akash is a great host and has amazing facilities alongside the apple orchards and cowshed to have an extra bunch of friends. Your breakfast view is going to be breath-taking if you’re a morning person :)
