They welcomed with a great welcome drink of Red Rhododendron flower. The owner Raju Bhai is very kindly. You will love the food they provide here all cooked with authentic desi ghee. We will surely be visiting again for food. And if you are there ask for Siddu and Matar curry, you will surely love it. You can see farming of a lot of species of fruit and flower near the stay, you can enjoy sunset with Dhauladhar range so close to your sight. Raju bhai took us to trekking saying you are our guest and I will show you the best beauty of this place. First day he took us to beautiful and green Deohari village. Next day he took us to trek to a secret waterfall with breathtaking views. Don’t forget to buy a bottle of authentic ghee from him at low price. Raju bhai is the most kind person in Himachal I have met.

The place is in sharan village. One can get down at Ropa complex(GHP), from there you can either trek or can even get a taxi/truck to go up in the village. Did the trek to reach Upper neahi. But accidentally found the place in the middle somehow and ended up staying here. The hospitality was great. The place offers the best and the most perfect views of the valley. You will definitely love the sunrise and sunset sky. The rooms were simple but clean. And it actually gives a homestay kind of feeling. Raju uncle and aunty took good care of us. The food that they prepared was just fresh from their farm. Helped them in the dinner and had it under the sky full of stars.. alongside a bonfire. The aunty was weaving Kullu shawl at that time which was kaafi beautiful and she also knows knitting. We also learnt a lot about their lives. The experience was so homely. Plus you can even indulge yourself into the local life here. Couldn't have asked for a better way to end the trip.

I don't have words to explain the hospitality that Raju uncle and his wife had given. By far the best homestay I have stayed In Himachal. I stayed there for 3 days during april 23 and the stay and the whole experience was so memorable. When we arrived Raju uncle picked up from sainj village even though our driver was late. The taste of his homemade dal chawal and aloo matar was heavenly. The best part is the ghee and the vegetables all are home made and from his farm. And he sits with us when we eat just to ensure we are not having any trouble and makes sure we full , just like our mother and father does to us. And there are many offbeat gems which are a short hike away , raju uncle took us to all those places nearby. We explored the diohari village, pundrik lake, a waterfall nearby and still there are so much more to explore. He is one of the best human I have ever come across. And his homestay is affordable for budget travellers. Definitely recommend this homestay 10/10 for the Amazing views, food , experience and for Raju uncle.

I had stayed at Himalayan edge for 3 days and was traveling solo. Raju bhai is an extremely warm host and his hospitality will make you come back to this place regularly. The rooms are clean and the view from the Homestay is probably the best in this area. Also, internet connectivity is excellent and the place also has Wi-Fi so working from here shouldn't be an issue. Raju bhai and his wife will provide you with three delicious meals every day with the best part being that the almost everything the family cooks is grown in their own farm. The rajma and siddu (local himachal specialty) were my favorites. Also ask for GMC (Raju bhai's in-house brew) Apart from relaxing in the Homestay and exploring the village tere are several short hikes accessible from the area. The hike to Shangarh meadows is easy and is along a pristine forest trail. The pundrik rishi lake is a short 15 min walk. The more challenging hikes are Sari Kanda, Bunga and Thini. You can contact Raju bhai on +918091130131. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for an offbeat/ non touristy vacation. The charm and simplicity of the place will make you want to come back here regularly. Will definitely visit this place again.

I stayed with Raju Bhaiya and his family for six days and completely fell in love with the place and their hospitality. The entire experience of living in a Himachali village, exploring hidden places and eating local organic food were made possible by their efforts. Internet works great there. So if you're looking for a home away from home, his place is a must visit

The Host, Raju bhaiya is an amazing person. Very welcoming, and kind. The service is outstanding. And you'll get all the routes and honest reviews of the nearby places, hikes, and treks from him. He'll even guide you through your hikes and treks, even through phone calls as the network is great even in the mountains there. Rooms- Clean and very comfortable with a great view. Bathroom- Very clean and big bathroom with gyser. Two toilets. Food- Delicious home made food including local cuisines if you like. The food is served with tasty cow ghee and local pickles.

If you are looking to calm your soul down then I would highly recommend this homestay. Raju Bhai's hospitality is exceptional! Home cooked food is so delicious that you can't stop eating no matter how full you are. I still remember that Rajma, Dal, Ghee, Siddu, Buransh pudina chutney and GMC! I thank Raju bhai every time I eat the ghee I brought back. Even the pudina that he gave me from his field was amazing and not like anything else I have ever had. There are also many small hikes in the area and you can easily spend days. Raju's bhai family is very welcoming and they truly make it feel like home. Jo sach hai woh sach hai Raju Bhai!
