Avoid Marley Villa Shimla like the plague! Rating: -10/10 (yes, that's a negative 10) I had the misfortune of staying at Marly Villa Shimla, and it was an unmitigated disaster. The villa was a dump, with: - Filthy rooms that seemed like they hadn't been cleaned in weeks - Broken furniture that looked like it belonged in a junkyard - A "garden" that was just a patch of dirt - A "restaurant" that served what can only be described as toxic waste But wait, it gets better! The villa also had: - Broken washroom tiles - A foul smell in the rooms The owner's attitude was appalling! When I tried to complain, they just shrugged and told me to "deal with it". Save your sanity and your stomach. Avoid Marly Villa Shimla like the plague. Trust me, you won't regret it. Finally, when we wanted to leave the property, they tried to blackmail us, saying we should pay for an extra day since we had booked for three days. Thankfully, my local friend in CM House helped us get out of this horrible experience.

We just returned from a 2 night, 3 day stay at Marley Villa. We had a fantastic experience. Mr. Jai was super responsive. All staff were hospitable and friendly. Views from the property are outstanding. I highly recommend staying at this property.

Excellent place to stay with family and groups. Food was excellent, staff was helpful in deciding the menu for meals and breakfast. Rooms are well heated using room heaters and bed warmers. There is ample space for the kids to play outside or in the living space. Mall road is just 25 min walk and 10 min by car. It has totally a homely vibe. Just book it don't think over.

I think, I am in love with villa... it's British Era villa, now owned by Indian... we took 3 bedrooms... all the bedrooms are weirdly connected, at times privacy may go on toss... but overall look and feel is amazing... the sit-out, living and dining areas are winners... it's kid friendly place, 2 toddlers from the group enjoyed the villa... not to worry about running kids, it's safe... View form outside sit out is amazing... Special shout out to the service staff - very polite, prompt, food is home cooked nice food, you will get morning tea very promptly which was very very imp... Amazing place, beautiful astetics, British vibes, nice lighting...

We stayed here for two nights in this heritage property and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Food prepared by staff was amazing. View from property is mesmerizing with enough sitouts to enjoy it. Although property is accessible to main road but the road to property is bit steep and navigation for new drivers can be bit tricky.

The Only word I can say is "Simply Awesome". The Bunglow has it own old world Charm. Mr. Jai Lal (The Host) in this short period has become like a younger brother to me. He will put his all efforts to make you feel at home. To be honest, At one point, We were thinking that as it is our own home. Caretakers Sudip and Uttam are always there to help you and the food they prepare is so good and very homely. The location is very good and they have created small niches in this property to make it interesting to you. Just loved this property and have already recommended to many of my friends and relatives.
