Chandel Home Stay

Brijender ji, the owner is a real gentleman. During my stay on two separate occasions i had the opportunity to interact with him for long durations. He's very polite, helpful, considerate, always willing and happy to oblige. He takes personal pains to ensure a guest's comfort. He attempts to make a guest feel truly at home. I'm personally rather impressed with his attitude and behaviour. I have given overall four stars only because i consider that my highest rating and i haven't rated anyone 5 stars yet. In a nutshell, i highly recommed the place and it's owner. The location is beautiful, quiet, peaceful, scenic. Rooms are clean, laundry, bedsheets, mattresses, pillows are all good. I wil definitely be going there again, and shall recommend the place to my friends and acquaintances too.

I stay here, and i guess this was our good option and the owner is too good i like his nature, he is very kind person. And when i woke up early morning, i remember the scene was amazingggg... You will see mountains and clouds surrounding you. Rooms was good, not so bad not so extremely good. Overall a very good experience

It was a small room, but not too small. Don't expect too much in terms of views or services; the place costs around ₹600-700/night and offers a hygienic stay. The washroom, however, is very small and there are no showers. The restaurant downstairs does serve food, but the menu is limited. Additionally, there aren't too many food stalls nearby, except for a few shops/stalls at the Summer Hill market, which is a 20-minute walk from this place. What is good is that this place is a 10-minute walk from the Summer Hill Railway Station and town of Shimla is a 4.5km/30 to 40-minute walk through lovely, dense vegetation.

Absolutely poor guess house... stinking. rooms .. poor unclear bedding ... stay only if u can't afford a decent place.. in short both the location and rooms are below. Average .. not worth staying a for single night .. unless u r trapped and have no other option... to make it worse the ppl who operate it are reat idiots who don't know any thing about hospitality... absolute 3rd class place

Wonderful place to live like a home , cooperative staff , especially owner , Frequent taxi service , breakfast is delecious . Value for money . Free Wifi

I booked this hotel from Yatra.com and I had confirmation of booking from Yatra. When I talked to owner, He said yes there is booking but he refused on booking day. I had to suffer with my family. Also the person did not help me anymore and talked very non-professional. Also location is misleading.||||Be aware before booking of this hotel
