Namsay Homestay Tabo

Had a wonderful experience of staying in Namsay Homestay. The house is made of mud, providing it natural insulation from the cold. The rooms are quaint, cosy and very inviting. The staff is helpful and courteous. The best attraction of the homestay is the adorable Paddy, the Labrador. He is the goodest boi, always looking for pets and food! Looking forward to meeting him again

Excellent homestay. The rooms are cozy and the services are good. Remarkable hospitality, although we didn't like the dinner and breakfast they served. Rest is fine

An amazing Tibetan styled home stay, it’s a hut made out of mud which acts like an insulated layer in the cold weather. The rooms were so warm even when it was -4•C outside. The food is amazing, most tasteful food I had during my entire Spiti Valley trip.

Room was quiet good but they dont have bathroom in all rooms only one room has separate bathroom and 4 rooms has one bathroom, which is very discomforting. Food was superb and all other service was also good.

We stayed in the old mud rooms. It was a very unique experience. Even with sub zero temperature, you won't feel cold. Best part is electric blanket is provided with every bed. Washroom was common. Dining area is really authentic and cozy. Food can be a little better. We even enjoyed snowfall outside in Tabo. The lady owner was a great host. Also you don't get alcohol in Tabo, so carry it beforehand.

When you ring the door you get a big smile from 3 sisters and mom. The whole stay was just brilliant because of great attitude in the house. Sonam, Palkit & Chuki makes you feel at home. Very clean house, Great food , Local breakfast & even they helped us with the bags transport. The dining area is superb. 25 people can easily accomodate. Monastery and caves are at a walking distance. Must stay at palkit guest house for a wonderful experience.

We stayed in Tabo and Kaza and it was an awesome experience. Food was awesome and cook was very friendly. They shared their experiences and we had unlimited chats and funs. And don’t forget our friend Bunny, he was the best. He was super friendly.

I was here in 2021. Tabo is very beautiful. Hospitality was incredible. Manager has informed us about the place, history which was amazing. Even he took us to the caves where monk used to meditate. Food was incredible. Part of the house is rented out and in other part family used to live. People are very nice and they had a pet (dog). Don't miss the night view of the sky. Thanks :)
