Coorg Aroma Homestay

We are 4 family went to Coorg and stay here. It was very pleasant stay for us and food is very homely and testy. I will prefer this place if you are with family. Early morning there is near by lake view is ossum.

Rooms were clean Darshan and his family were friendly and were very helpful. Though we had to shorten trip but we enjoyed the stay. Place is totally near plantation and lot of greenery around so insects and spiders were everywhere except in rooms and bed😀

A fantastic homestay with a great couple that attends to your needs. The food they prepared was absolutely amazing and plentiful. They are also very welcoming in how they interact with their guests. The house itself is nestled in a lush green setting with coffee fields and forestry all around. The owner of the homestay also has a coffee estate, where he will happy take you for a visit. Note: they are averse to hosting bachelors for fear that such groups might be too loud/unruly. Great place for a family.

There was no power supply for 2 out of 3 days we stayed there. During night time, it was pitch dark that we couldn't see if any insects were on our bed or our things or on us even. Please note, there were so many insects crawling which is common in any hill station, but without power supply, we didn't feel safe to stay in that place or use the bathroom at night or sleep peacefully. The UPS has also ran out of charge on both the days.

I have stayed in this homestay between 9th-11th October with my wife and two kids and following are me honest feedback. PROS: 1) The location of the homestay is JUST EXCELLENT and you will experience PEACE of mind, 2) The host Mr. Darshan and his family are just LOVELY PEOPLE and we honestly didn’t feel like it’s a paid stay, they treated us like their personal guest and took care of all our needs, 3) The room and everything inside it is was very neat and clean, 4) There was an ample space of parking, 5) Round the clock assistance from host, 6) I will strongly recommend you to eat the food prepared by host as it was extremely healthy, hygienic, and economic with thousand percent better than food served in any restaurants in Madikere. CONS: 1) The place has extremely poor network connectivity and don’t expect your phone or GPS to work there as I myself kept spinning on 17 kilometers within the estate to lost our tracks (You will get free Wi-fi with good connectivity in homestay), 2) There is no display boards to assist you in navigation after you cross Madikere, 3) There are no grocery shop with amenities and medical shops in diameter of 11 kilometers from the homestay. SUGGESTION FOR NEW TRAVELER: 1) Reach the location of homestay before sunset and follow the location shared by host and do not trust Google Map completely, 2) In case you are travelling with people who has dependency of medicine, then keep everything with yourself in advance as there are no medical shops in next 16-20 Kilometer. SUGGESTION FOR HOST: Keep up your good service, I am glad that me and my family met a wonderful people like Mr. Darshan and his family. MY VERDICT: I will give 5/5 and if I am going to Coorg next time, I will not even look for any other place to stay apart from this as I found a perfect place to stay “Coorg Aroma Homestay”.

very good home stay, with neat and clean rooms, staying is very calm and pleasent, very much tasty and exciting foods. and got to taste some realy nice coorgy foods got a nice oppertunity to experience the cooffe and pepper plantation.

Awesome hospitality was given by the property owners. Amazing surroundings with lush green vegetation. Very peaceful stay we had 🌺🌼🎉💐🌱🍀😇

Worst homestay. Please never ever book this homestay. I m saying this because of my personal experience. There was no power supply in this homestay.I suffered mental trauma because of this and it ruined my whole trip.please guys don't choose this hotel based on this fake reviews.I wish I could rate less than zero.
