We stayed at Bovera for 2 nights in a Balcony cottage. You can be close to nature and feel the sound of nature by sitting at the balcony with a great Garden and the ong paddy view. Staffs are nice and very polite. Local food was delicious. Well maintained garden where you can walk around. I would really recommend this property who wants to spend couple of days from busy city life. Thank you

Bovera Orchards offers a truly peaceful stay, surrounded by lush greenery and a serene atmosphere. The calm and quiet make it a perfect escape from the city. It's an ideal spot to hang out with friends and colleagues, providing a refreshing break from office pressure and a chance to relax your mind. The staff is incredibly polite, always ensuring guests are comfortable. A special mention goes to Vyshnav, who was exceptionally friendly and attentive, making the stay even more pleasant. Highly recommended for anyone seeking relaxation in a beautiful setting.

Bovera Orchards is situated in a very good location. The staff hosted us with great hospitality. The rooms were clean but the drawbacks were that we could not open windows, it was directly opening to the next house and had no net, which attracts mosquitos. It would have been good if the windows were netted. Else it gets suffocating to stay in closed rooms or air conditioning provisions should have been made. I understand it's a pet friendly property but it is weird to sit on the same dining table where the pet cats and dogs keep roaming upon and the pets access kitchen. It gives me doubts of how clean is the kitchen or how safe is the food that's cooked with pet access. There are many other properties which are pet friendly but they train the pets on their territories. The rooms had few old furniture which has smell, with the closed suffocating room the smell makes it uneasy to stay. At least that part should be maintained clean and polished so that the rooms feel better.

Rooms and linen were neat but the rooms had a damp fungal smell. Breakfast was served with limited options. Rice cake and upma were the only options. Each cottage has inverter for uninterrupted power. Food delivery is available at extra delivery charge but the food is good. Overall had a pleasant experience.

Do not fall for the pictures on Google or the pictures the management sends you while booking. The experience in Bovera was completely opposite. There were insects all over the room and even on the bed. Rooms were very dirty and suffocating. Despite informing the owner than I had senior citizens travelling and he ensuring they will take care of all the things, it was bad. The care taker in the property was reluctant in visiting the rooms and checking what the problem is.

Average stay with a bad location. The room was just okay, but should have been maintained better. Not neat and tidy. Not recommended for families or couples. Complimentary breakfast consisted of poori baji and roti. Don't expect much.

We were two of us who stayed for two nights at Bovera Orchards. A lot of negatives, a few positives, read on....||13th of March 2024. It was scorching Hot. Not a leaf moved till about 7pm. even then, it was so still. The room has NO A/c. It was so warm, The fan hardly moves. Thank god the Manager - Vaishnav assured us he will get a Pedestal Fan, which he bought new, and that made the stay manageable. The room has dull lights which made it gloomy. The Deluxe room with Balcony, which in the website says 450 sq ft, certainly is NOT unless the balcony and the toilet and the common area is added. No intercom in the room to call anyone, one has to walk down or call on Vaishnavs Mobile and if he is out, you are stuck. No Tea/coffee maker. No Chair in the room to sit, you have to sit in the Balcony and chase mosquitos or listen to insects. NO TV. The bathroom though spacious is stained in the front of the sink, and the mirror has something jutting out to keep your toileteries making it difficult to wash your face without messing up the floor. The floor has no antiskid, so watchout it becomes very slippery when wet. Worst of all, the mattress, like sleeping on wood - as hard as hard as can be. Worst of all, barring a few large trees, I could see NO orchards or Anthuriums or Orchids as stated in the website, No Coffee plantations in the property, though there are outside. Also, if you dont have your own vehicle, its difficult to reach and the closest town of Virajpet is quite a distance away, and Madikeri is 36 kms away. Its in the middle of No where, the closest shops are around 3km away !||We wanted ICE on the first day with our drinks but told some other guest finished it. However we did get the next day. They did a bonfire. The biggest saving grace are the staff - Vaishnav, Jayanto, the cook Sunil and the server who were always at hand and obliging and helpful, to get us a mosquito coil, to fix the balcony light, to put on the generator when the power went off, etc. The food is average. I didnt like it when theny cut fruits with the same knife they cut Onions, and the fruits were smelling of onions. Food choice is Limited.||The property has a tiny pond a distance away in which they do kayaking which we didnt use, shuttle, a small childrens play area. Our biggest disappointment was the weather, so, so hot in March I wonder what it would be in Apirl or May and without an A/c, it is very very difficult to stay in the room. And mind you, its not comfortable sitting in the Balcony either.||All in all, considering its in the middle of No where, I certainly wont go back again. A few have praised the place, its ok if you are a couple and want to be alone in your room, otherwise with the heat and limited resources, there is nothing much one can do. Hats of to the staff. They are the saving grace ! However when we left, after making the payment, no one came to see us off or check the rooms, we just took out bags and drove off....

Don't go by the photos they have posted. They have shabby rooms and the service is pathetic. Property manager was not welcoming and asked us to better have food from outside. If you are going with kids, never take this place
