BlueMist Homestay.... Just a wow. First the place / location is so serene that we forget ourselves. We felt lucky to have found this place because the total stay gave us a memorable n satisfying experience. The rooms are very comfortable and in the middle of guava, sapota, jackfruit, lemon and coffee estates. The serene sounds of malanad music just mesmerizes us. " The only word is Heaven" The team is so professional, caring and warm. We had the bestest, elaborate breakfast n dinner. Thanks to the great chef prasanna and the team Lakshmi n Jyothi. They are so loving and caring. The chef prasanna"s cooking is so amazing. Big thanks to Pawan n Nikhil for giving us this great experience. We r looking forward to visit again and again.

We visited Blue Mist Homestay for a team outing, and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment we arrived, the warm hospitality of the hosts made us feel completely at home. The location is absolutely perfect—away from the chaos, surrounded by lush greenery and fresh air, it was the ideal spot for a relaxing and rejuvenating retreat. The food was another highlight of our stay. Every meal felt like a lovingly prepared home-cooked feast. The quality was top-notch, with flavors that felt so authentic and comforting, like what you’d get at home. Whether it was the delicious breakfast to start the day or the hearty dinner to end it, every meal was a delight! Our hosts went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, offering great service and making sure we had a memorable stay. The rooms were clean, cozy, and well-equipped, providing the perfect setting for our team to unwind and bond. I would highly recommend Blue Mist Homestay for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway or a team outing. The combination of amazing food, beautiful surroundings, and fantastic hospitality made it a perfect choice for our team!

Pros: The food was tasty. The owner and staffs were polite. Cons: The rooms were way too small, The 3 bed room which we had booked has space for only 3 beds and nothing else. We were barely able to move in the room. They are short staffed. For each and everything, we had to climb down the steps to the restaurant. No one is there to deliver anything. Hot water doesn't come properly. And we had to ask repeatedly to fix the boiler. Room had a peculiar smell. The linens weren't clean. No toiletries were in room and we had to ask for the same. No water bottle in room. They took 10k for one night for a room which is not at all worth for the quality of room and service.

Bluemist Homestay was recommended by a colleague as part of our team outing. The location is peaceful and scenic and makes the drive worthwhile. Beautiful location along with the rains made the stay more memorable and hospitality was great. The staff were courteous and were always available for our requests. The food options and taste was great plus the rooms were decent enough.

We had such a lovely time at Bluemist Resort. The location is absolutely beautiful—surrounded by hills and coffee plantations, with the most peaceful views right from the room. Waking up to that scenery was such a refreshing change from city life. The staff were super friendly and helpful, and the whole place had a really warm and welcoming vibe. The food was simple but really tasty—felt like a home-cooked meal, which was perfect. One of my favorite moments was just sitting with a cup of coffee, looking out over the plantation and hills. So calm and peaceful—it’s exactly the kind of break we were hoping for. Huge thanks to the team at Bluemist for making our stay so relaxing and memorable. Would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Chikmagalur.
