Harshadhare Homestay

TThe food provided at Harshadhare Homestay was excellent. All the two-and-a-half days the food (breakfasts & dinners) were very delicious. Alas, the accommodation was horrible. The room was not good at all. The bathroom was horrible. The bed linens were dirty and room service was extremely poor. The dirty linens brought rashes on our skin at the end of our tour. The cost of Rs. 1500 per day per guest was too too much for the facilities available in Harshadhare Homestay. We shelled out Rs. 3750 per person for a two-and-a-half day stay and it was absolutely unworthy. Good quality food did not offset the huge negatives that we all grudgingly experienced. Overall I strongly recommend against choosing this particular homestay.

It’s was an awesome experience especially food I have to mention it homemade food should be lucky to taste all those especially that Non-Veg. The place is well maintained. Very kind staff, appreciate their hospitality I have experienced, had a great time with campfire and tents. We stayed for 2 nights and 3 days with lot of fun and enjoyments, music and campfire. It is covered completely with hills. this is not too far to the city as well to tourist places.

A 5BHK house for groups of size of 14 can easily stay. The place is kind of isolated so gives you the peace away from city at night. Better to get your food from outside restaurant as the kitchen didn't feel that good. But the nice wind at the terrace and if you have a big gang, then its a nice place to enjoy. The house next door has a lot of dogs while they do bark a lot, never felt like a nuisance

We stayed there for 2 nights.It was a pretty comfortable stay. Very courteous people.Spacious and clean rooms and bathrooms.Lot of place to roam around for the kids.They also have a coffee plantation. Trecking is possible within the property.||||Excellent homemade food to your taste.I travelled with a small baby.The lady there offered food for the baby's need as well.We stayed there during peak summer .So I felt another fan in the room would have been better.Also the approach road is not the greatest,but if you are looking for a homestay close to chikmagalur town with good amenities it is a great choice.Overall a very good place to stay if you are travelling as a family especially with kids or senior citizens.They also have the amenities for a group stay.
