Worst place to stay. I would suggest not to choose this place and there are many stay available near by at this price range. Glass house sorry glass tent is very tiny and no AC so you won’t be able to stay after 9am in the glass house. The heat is very severe and you get heat stroke. Next is wooden hut is full of insects, fungus. Con is that you get to stay with cockroaches. Breakfast is not worth. Over priced and over hyped place. They will say like they are offering dinner and breakfast free but twist is at when you check out. Still if you decided to stay, get food from outside and enjoy the heat stroke. Overall review is worst place and over priced and over hyped that is what you get.

Wow, this nature stay in Coorg was absolutely amazing! Travelled to this place a few days back. Even though I couldn't stay in the glass house, the wooden cottage was cozy and comfortable. The French window in the cottage room was my favorite spot to enjoy the sunrise with a cup of tea. And the room under the glass house was another highlight - I got to enjoy my breakfast with a stunning view! The property was surrounded by nature and not crowded, so I had all the peace and privacy I needed. The caretaker, Niranjan, and his wife were so kind and served delicious food. I can't wait to go back and stay in that glass house next time! It was such a unique and wonderful experience. If you're looking for a peaceful and nature-filled getaway, this is the place to be. I highly recommend it!

All the reasons NOT to stay here. 1. You'll slip and fall on the mud while walking from the gate to your rooms. No proper stairs. No railings. Algae. 2. Complimentary breakfast = overwatered soggy Maggi + tea flavoured sugar water. No you cannot ask for other food. 3. Hidden charges. They'll ask you 500 INR for auto fare to bring your food from the shop to your room. Also no inhouse restaurant. 4. Leeches. Cockroaches. Flies. It's a true wild life experience. Toss a coin. 5. No towels. 6. No daily cleaning of room. 7. No bonfire. 8. Don't ask for snacks, they'll only give you Maggi. Unless you really love Maggi. 9. Charging ports do not work. 10. Overpriced. 11. Weak wifi. No signal. Reasons to book the stay 1. Cute dog.

I was extremely excited about my stay at 42 Gaalibidu, but it turned out to be a major disappointment. The "glass house" advertised is actually a glass tent with a tiny attached bathroom that lacks hot water. There wasn't a dustbin, and the room had a strange odor. Rainwater was leaking inside, and I saw leeches and snails crawling around. The caretaker put a wet mat inside the tent, and the bedsheets were also slightly damp. As a couple, the glass structure was concerning because the curtains were not properly pinned, and there were no extra pins available. The curtains were also very dirty, so I had to use my body tape and hair clips to cover them properly. We left early in the morning because we couldn't stay any longer; mosquitoes were getting inside, and the mosquito coil provided wasn't working. We were the only guests there, and the stay wasn't worth even ₹500, yet we paid ₹3500. No tea was served, and for two days, they claimed the milk had curdled, so we couldn't even have proper breakfast.

Plan your trip from 6pm to morning 8 am or else you will suffer from the heat inside the house like your are inside the oven It is only suitable for two persons. Otherwise the nite was gud...

Worst Stay of my life. Please don't visit this place..your vacation will be spoilt!!!!!! Nothing is good here...no proper caretaker , no connectivity, no wifi nothingggg!!!! no food arrangementss and if arrangements are done they'll charge you 500 for one time extraaa as service charge...no bill for foood payment nothing...Kindly don't visit...Worst property everrr!!!!!!! If there was any rating below 1 , I'll happily go with that !

Wounder full experience... Food provided was good nd tasty worthy for 140 per plate.Helper was very kind and camp fire was made which complets the stay....the view looks so good from glass house and tress house ....

1) So i made this plan to take my young son with me on some nice Coorg homestay and got attracted by this glasshouse concept. Reached there at 12noon to know that this glasshouse cannot be used as this is a burning furnace. It is so hot that you cannot imagine going inside even for toilet nor the staffs are suggesting to go. 2) They have given a small shelter attached to the glasshouse which has just a small 1 person basic bed and a fan. It had one side open to the valley. So whole day 2 person sleeping on that bed and on the floor waiting for the evening when the temperature will be ok. Felt pathetic seeing my son sleeping like this in hot summer when we were supposed to come for an outing. There is no food there and staffs asked us to go back to city to get food. After some persuasion, one of them went to city and got the food for us in 1.5hrs. Also got key of one of the cottage for using the restroom. Kitchen is there only for making tea and nothing else. 3) There is no shop nearby for many kms and roads are very very narrow and difficult to take car out. Went out to city 10km from there to get evening snacks and by the time came back, got to know they gave that glasshouse to someone else and shifted us to the next one which was less better view. Felt bad and raised also but cant do anything. 4) Evening was fine there as temperature was fine and we could use this glasshouse as just an experience of few hours. There were some big bugs already waiting for us inside the room. lived with them whole night and morning left the place at 8 o clock as it was supposed to be hot again after 8am. 5) Also no wifi and mobile network is also very bad. If you are a couple who wants to go there to have a slight different experience then can go in evening. For someone who wants to spend a day with family, this is a joke. They can say that this is a unique experience but first provide basic survival amenities or at least mention that we cannot check in before 5pm and must vacate by 8AM. Staffs were good and i got tea whenever i wanted. Evening stay in the glasshouse was a good experience. If they could have made the shelter room a proper room with AC and proper bed then it could have been at least livable, until then avoid it.
