A perfect home stay for your friends and family who wants to have a very peaceful time away from city. It was definitely a long drive through the wild trees. The property is well maintained and owners are very friendly and accommodating. To be frank, its been so long that I have seen so many dragonflies in the lush greenery. It felt like a home away from home. The food was also too great. We had a bonfire near the swimming pool in a drizzling night. 😇

My experience at Jagli Katte was truly delightful. Located in the peaceful village of Begur, away from the bustling city of Bangalore, this place provides a serene and tranquil atmosphere. Surrounded by nature, it offers a perfect escape from the city's chaos. The highlight of the stay was definitely the freshwater pool, where I spent hours relaxing and rejuvenating. The accommodation offered a comfortable and cozy experience, creating a warm and homely atmosphere. The traditional village house, with its unique central opening, added a charming touch to the stay, making it truly memorable. Additionally, the homemade food provided was delicious, adding to the overall satisfaction of the experience. What impressed me the most was the hospitality and care provided by the owner, Mr. Naveen Bushan. He was incredibly humble and attentive, ensuring that all guests were comfortable and well taken care of. His warm and welcoming nature made the stay even more enjoyable. I would highly recommend for families and friends looking to escape the city and spend quality time in nature. It's a perfect retreat to unwind, relax.

I would like to refer Jagli Katte if you would like to stay in a calm place in the farmhouse. Located 200km from Bangalore, on Mysore-Gundlupet road at the village by name Begur. We recently had the pleasure of staying in Jagli Katte for school friends retreat, and it was an experience that exceeded all my expectations. From the moment we stepped into the farmland, I knew I was in for something special. The ambience was very much rural, and the decor created a warm and intimate atmosphere for a village environment. Jagli Katte is nestled amidst rolling hills and picturesque landscapes, this farmhouse offered a tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. The air was fresh and crisp, and the peaceful ambience was incredibly rejuvenating. The food was homely and the owner is vibrant Mr. Naveen Bushan and his family treats us as their family and were very much friendly and passionate to serve us the homely food. The small pool is a place for the children to relax. Thanks to our friend Thirtha Prasad (TP), who referred Jagli Katte (JK) to us and it was indeed an experience that left me refreshed and connected to nature after being in life at Namma Bengaluru. About Jagli Katte (JK) – A traditional village house with a central opening for enough ventilation. However, there were a few areas where the farmhouse could improve – naming a few, signage and directions to the property could be clearer from the main road, although Google Map guides you perfectly, worth putting some hoardings here and there. Additionally, more amenities such as restrooms and shaded areas or tent houses for relaxation would enhance the overall visitor experience. Despite these, our time spent at this farmhouse was truly memorable. It offered a serene retreat where we could reconnect with our childhood amidst nature and gain a deeper appreciation for sustainable agriculture. If you're seeking a peaceful escape from the city and a chance to immerse yourself in the beauty of rural life, this Jagli Katte farmhouse is worth a visit.

Jagli Katte is one of the best place in Begur to stop and have home prepared, tasty, pocket friendly food. Managed by Mrs and Mr Naveen. Very limited seating capacity and very limited food variety and limited plates. But you can have stomach full as it is unlimited meal. They do not use grinder to powder the masala. It's all hand ground masala and tastes amazing. Must try Sambar and rice. Home made pickle and chutney pudi (ask for it). Important note: Please call Naveen if you are visiting in big numbers or if you are visiting late. So they get enough time to prepare food for you and keep it separate for your group. Soon in few months they are planning to shift to a new place. Confirm before going there. A must visit place for breakfast and lunch. ( no dinner served now ).

This place is great! The service is unmatched. They put in lot of efforts in preparing healthy & delicious food items for customers. They serve food with so much love & care.They truly care about customer experience. Do yourself a favor and visit this lovely restaurant in Begur. Highly recommend!

This place is something you wish to crave for if you have got fedup of living in cities and eating out at usual places. Situated at Begur , this eatery offers the delicious quality based home made breakfast & lunch at affordable prices. This place gives you sense of relief & feels even better when you have a chat with Owner Naveen Bushan, who keeps you engaged with his witty chats & great sense of humor. They do have online based UPI payment system, and road side parking space, so please do a stop over on your way to relish the food , it's worth the experience!.
