I had an amazing stay at The Last Villa by Bilwa Estate in Coorg for two nights. The room was spotless and well-maintained, making our stay very comfortable. One of the highlights was the special birthday surprise they arranged on request—it was beautifully done and made the trip even more memorable. The bonfire setup was perfect for a cozy evening. The property has its own kitchen where you can request anything you want to eat, and I must say, the food was absolutely delicious! Every meal felt like home-cooked perfection. A special mention to the caretakers, Ramesh and his colleague, who were extremely friendly and helpful. They even took us on a morning trek, helping us explore some beautiful places around the estate. Since this was my first visit to Coorg, it turned out to be one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful and enjoyable stay in nature!

The stay at Lastvilla is very peaceful, with a humble caretaker and an excellent cook who can prepare a variety of dishes; the rooms and washrooms are also neat and clean. It’s a highly recommended place to stay, but it’s best to travel there in the morning as the property is located in a jungle.

A beautiful getaway right in the midst of the lush green Western ghats. The impeccable interiors and cozy outdoor dining with bonfire is made even more enjoyable by the super friendly and hospitable staff who were always there to cater to our requirements at all times. Cherry on top is their in house kitchen which never fails to deliver a mouth watering meal which you can enjoy at the outdoor table with a view of Abbey falls 100% recommended!

Very disappointing experience. Please avoid this place. 1. Unhygienic Conditions: The homestay was not clean or well-maintained. 2. Misleading Parking Information: They claimed parking was available, but we had to park our vehicle 2.6 km away on a roadside, which was unsafe. (Road was blocked due to construction) 3. No Privacy: Rooms are internally connected with two doors—there is no proper separation or privacy. 4. Poor Wi-Fi: The Wi-Fi was extremely slow and practically unusable. 5. Rude Owner: The owner was very rude and seemed only interested in making money, not in ensuring guest comfort. 6. Lack of Basic Facilities: There were multiple issues, and when we raised concerns, the owner dismissed them by saying “let’s not connect all problems together.” 7. Fake Photos: The pictures shown online are completely misleading and do not match the actual condition of the property. 8. We Left Early: We couldn’t stay more than 4 hours due to the poor conditions and ended up booking another nearby villa. 9. No Refund Provided: We had booked the place for 3 days, but the owner refused to refund anything. We didn’t even bother asking further since he was already aggressive and confrontational. 10. Expect Retaliation: Be warned—the owner has a habit of replying negatively to reviews instead of addressing issues. Only one good thing I can mention—the caretaker, who also worked as the chef, was genuinely helpful and kind. Overall, not worth it. Would not recommend this place.

The place was an absolute blast of fun. Such good food and services that I wanted to stay for a few more days. The view from the stay was absolutely stunning. You can even go on nearby trecks into the forest along with the caretaker. Would love to stay once again at the villa :)
