We had a wonderful stay at Santhrupthi homestay in Madikeri. The cleanliness was truly impressive — aunty cleaned everything, including our dishes, and even dry and neatly folded our clothes. The breakfast they served was amazing with great variety, generous quantity, and delicious taste. Uncle were extremely helpful and polite. They shared genuine suggestions about nearby places, food options, and shopping, which made our trip even better. What touched us the most was aunty’s kindness — before we left, she prepared food for our children without us even asking. This thoughtful gesture meant a lot to us. Overall, it felt like staying with family. Highly recommended!

Had a wonderful stay at Santhrupthi Homestay coorg from Nov 22–27! The daily Coorg-style breakfast with delicious idlis, dosas, curries, and chutneys was amazing. The hosts provided deep cleaning every day and even washed, dried, and neatly folded our clothes. They arranged a lovely coffee plantation tour and thoughtfully packed food for our kids for our trip from Coorg to Kannur. Truly warm hospitality — highly recommended!

Our stay was absolutely fantastic, and I wholeheartedly recommend it for any family. Prakash sir and his wife are genuinely kind and wonderful hosts who made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The room was clean, cozy, and provided excellent value for the money. However, the main highlight was the incredible food and the hosts' thoughtful helpfulness. The daily breakfast was very tasty, but we were truly touched by the exceptional care they took of our 1.5-year-old daughter. They consistently provided separate, delicious food specifically for her, and even went above and beyond to offer her dinner. This level of attentiveness and kindness made our trip stress-free and incredibly memorable. For families, or anyone seeking a stay where the hosts genuinely care, this is a 100% recommendation.

Staying at this homestay was one of the best decisions of our trip to Madikeri. Prakash uncle and his family are incredibly warm, kind, and helpful. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel like a part of their family. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and freshly prepared every morning. What touched our hearts the most was the way they took care of my baby — with so much love, patience, and attention, something I haven’t experienced anywhere else. The location is perfect too — just 1 km from the Madikeri bus stand, making it very convenient for travellers. If you’re planning to come to Madikeri, don’t think twice. You’ll not only get a comfortable stay but also a trustworthy and caring host family. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful, homely, and memorable stay!

Stayed here in October 2025, extremely neatly maintained and well located in center of Madikeri. Easily accessible to all tourist locations and restaurants nearby. Mr.Prakash Uncle and Aunty are the best hosts ever, very sweet and kind. Definetly recommend this place for everyone.

I stayed at Santhrupthi Homestay for two days and it truly felt like home. The owner, Prakash, and his family welcomed us warmly and treated us like their own family members. Loved our stay at this homestay! 5-star experience! Room service was top-notch, location was perfect. The owners, a lovely couple, made us feel comfortable and at home. Delicious homemade food, super sweet and welcoming. Felt like part of their family. Cleanliness and amenities were impressive. Highly recommend for a cozy and warm stay.
