Hidden Waterfall, Madikeri

This is true gem of a fall and absolutely safe except during monsoon. The infrastructure in this private farm needs lots of improvement in terms of providing place for changing dress and refreshments. Reach is good. Location is closer to highway. Good place for family to enjoy safe waters.

The waterfall is perfect for enjoying a splash as it is quite shallow and the stones are not very slippery. Enjoyed a whole morning sitting in the drop pool. The Homestay is in poor condition. The room I got had the shower, jet spray, and toilet seat broken and geyser didn’t work. The bedsheet was so stained and dirty that I used my own sheet. Food was ridiculously bad. It seemed neither owner nor staff wanted guests. If not for families living in adjoining rooms, I would be thinking I ended up in a money laundering front. Location-wise it’s in the ghats road, so transportation is costly. It’s around 12km from Madikeri KSRTC bus stand. But also gives thrilling experience of living in a secluded place in Western Ghats and wonderful sunrise/sunset views. Importantly: staying at Homestay not mandatory for visiting the waterfall

Hidden waterfalls was a beautiful place. My brother had been to this homestay 3 times before he took me then recently we went to celebrate our cousins birthday to that same homestay with lot of hopes and plans but it was a complete disappointment. The hospitality was so bad we didn't feel like stay back. The chicken barbeque plan was so disgusting and they give a burnt chicken to it. The food was completely tasteless and yakey. The rice was so bad it was fully smashed and messy. And the owner responses very badly and speaks rot. Mr.Bharath owner who charged 1800 per head is not at all responsible about the guests. I feel it's a worst homestay in Madikeri without proper hygienic food and the coats and beds in room are so bad that they are about to breakdown. Finally when we try to sort out the problem with the owner he was not ready to listen to us. The workers are completely new to the work as they had told it by themselves in the night after which we stayed back and slept and got up in the morning by the time workers had created newsense between all of us. Atlast we just paid the amount and walked out without refreshing and not even had a breakfast. The owner is so cheap minded he started arguing and cursing us without understanding the situation. My suggestion is not to go to this homestay and I would not refer it hoping they will correct their mistakes and do not use cheap gimmicks on the guests and talk rot about the guests.

Beautiful place BUT the owner and the workers are very bad and irresponsible and bad behavior. They cook Depo Rice with Flys in it and they give burnt barbecue chicken , worst food, not on time Service they serve rice and later they come to Serve chapathis. All over not at all good homestay. Upon that they argue alot and curse the guests. My driver who had totally boozed who didn't respond to you but your just using his name. I am not fool to talk something bad sir. I am saying this out of concern so that others shouldn't get cheated. I have the proofs what's happened. I have paid 4000rs just for that burnt BBQ and salty non veg curry , tasteless veg curry and I had curd rice ( rice with black flies in it) and stay I reached at 8pm and checked out around 8:30am because of your bad talks.

A must visit place if you’re around coorg in Madikeri The place is very enjoyable. Do check the water level before you go to the falls. We went there when the summer was just starting and it was the perfect time to play in the water. They also have changing rooms on top. There is a short walk that leads you to the falls hence it is recommended to wear shoes or slippers with a grip. The place is very clean and beautiful. As it is in a private property, you will have to inform them and even pay entry ticket. You can drive until the Homestay and then walk a little to reach. The road after you turn inside is a a little bumpy but manageable.

Hidden waterfall homestay Bad homestay . Not providing good food . Not at all having good hospitality. Serves unhygienic food and not maintained rooms. No proper services. Not as promised at all. Talking harshly to guests and not responding to their needs but taking guests for granted and making money by treating them badly and by cursing them. Very Very Bad Experience at this homestay.

Nice palace to visit and spend your time in hidden water falls and view point Food was awesome and likin who hosted us was very friendly and always ready to help us with smile spl thanks to him for making our holidays memorable and yummy BBQ chicken........will visit again
