WELKIN HOME STAY

Booked a room for a night. The room condition was very bad. Fungus and damp walls. Pictures are misleading. Attached the pictures.

In the pictures shared while booking, the place looks awesome. Unfortunately there is lack of maintenance at the property. Spider webs, dust, malfunctioning toilets, dirty window screens, dirty mirrors, leftovers from previous guests, damaged shelves are some of the simple things which can be cleaned/repaired easily. Non-availability of any person who is in-charge to fix these things is a pain. With these issues, it was a bad experience to have stayed here with family and small children. At the same time, views from the property are wonderful. Also, as a temporary solution, few replacement rooms were provided, which was helpful. I’d recommend future guests, to ask for pictures/videos or video call of current status of rooms before booking. Hope the responsible people will take action to bring the property to the levels as shown in the pictures here.

Very worst experience, stay in this place spoiled our whole vacation mind. Once we entered the house, everything was so dust and no cleaning done and bathrooms not washed and no proper flush system Fungus smell in bed sheets and walls Very dangerous stay with our kids Never stay in this place They will give all assurance and make us come there and by night time we will have no option so they will lock us in that useless home. Money minded owner

I had a lovely stay here when I had come to Coorg. The hosts Harshitha and her mom were warm and friendly. They made every effort to ensure we were engaged in conversation. The rooms was spacious, and private without feeling secluded. I had breakfast and one time lunch the food was too good . Should try chicken curry 😉.

We just had an amazing relaxed stay.The environment and the atmosphere helped us to relax well. The food was excellent. An amazing hospitality. Best place to hangout with frnds and family as well. Looking forward to hangout again. Thank you.

Great place to stay. Our host Harshitha was very helpful and polite. We reached Coorg earlier than expected (around 3:30 am in the night). Even at 3:30 am in the night our host picked up our call and allowed us to stay at her property. The rooms were spacious and good. The host guided and helped us a lot during our trip. She even arranged dinner for us when all the restaurants were closed on swiggy and zomato due to heavy rain. Welkin Homestay is very flexible in checkout and check-in provided that no prior reservation is booked for their stay. Overall a great experience it was.

Very good home stay , and management is very friendly. Room was clean. Food was awesome. I was happy with this home stay the loyality of management made me feel how people support eachother.
